Someone finally said what I have been thinking for the longest!!! Thank you Andrew for saying Start Up Value Does not matter once start up is over in that league! I always find it funny when people try and negotiate a trade based off startup value after the draft! Like I don't care that you reached and drafted Baker in the 6th round of a startup.. I dont want him! Lol

25:00 Andrew says order of start up picks is not an order of player values. If you play in an active league, this should never be the case. Always draft BPA and trade later for the positions you need or players you want.

I can attest to nobody wanting to trade for Rachaad White. I have him and Bucky in two leagues cannot trade him for anything. Even for people who need RBS.

PLEASE DO AUCTIONS!! They are so much fun and there’s such a lack of draft content using the salary cap valuing vs. rounds/adp. Once you do auction and can build out your squad, snake drafts are BRUTAL and annoying

Trading is difficult out of season, my dynasty is entering its 2nd year, so in everyone's mind, they are competing. No one in my league is willing to trade until the season is under way and they can see if their team is actually competing, or should they trade to build stronger for next year. According to KTC, my team is power ranked #1, and having Rachaad White I feel the pain of not being able to trade him. I know he won't repeat his carries from next year, but down tiering in RB and gaining a pick feels like moving away from trying to compete. Cross trading him for a WR may not help my team as I have G. Wilson, S. Diggs, C. Godwin, H. Brown, L. McConkey, and B. Thomas Jr. All I can hope is that with the additional OL they drafted White's YPC gets better.

I like that y’all found players outside the elite tiers. Josh Allen, CeeDee, JJ, are all tough to approach in my leagues. I bought JJ when he was hurt last year for K walker, Puka, Thielen, and the 2.01. (10 team, SF, PPR, TE Prem) I sold CeeDee for Bijan and I moved back from 1.01 to 1.02. (Same settings)

10 team, 2 QB, PPR keeper league (you only keep 6 each year but the benches are big) Over the last 3 years since I took over the worst team in the league when the guy dropped out, I've built my core through trades for players and high picks. I've traded for Kyler Murray, Jordan Love, Justin Jefferson, Jonathan Taylor, and Trey McBride, and I drafted Bijan Robinson with the first overall last year. I haven't won yet but I feel like this is my year

I had Rachaad White on an orphan team I picked up and sent him for the 1.06 mid-rookie draft. That felt nice cause I feel like he's entering Achane, Jayden Reed, Rashee Rice territory-- where I can't get anything close to their values in a 1:1 trade.

My answer to this is be patient Wait for the season and injury to happen to a contender I could not get a first last season for white so I put Dionte Johnson and white together and got a 1st and 2nd for the combination and I was t able to get a first for either

Yeah Rachaad White got traded for two thirds in my 10 team half PPR SF league. Nobody would ever give up a first for him. Maybe a second but even then you’d prob need to throw in bucky if it’s a high second

Easily holding White over a late 1st in a PPR league. I’m not going to argue he’s some elite rusher, but HE IS an elite pass catcher. And are we really worried about diminutive Bucky Irving stealing that much work from him? You think they are pulling 220 lb Rachaad at the goal line for him? Not a chance. He’ll be a top 10 PPR back again this season.

Yeah I’m with you. His inefficiency on the ground is being way overplayed especially from a PPR perspective. I think people forget how big of a blow the Bucs oline took with Marpet retiring early and Jansen being hurt 2 years in a row leading to retirement. Their Oline is much stronger going into this year.

I traded Rachaad White and a 25 3rd for Will Levis. In a rough spot for QBs and Im hoping that it pays off

My dynasty team is full of these types of players right now. Their production is greater than their dynasty value. They’re the missionary position of dynasty. It’s not sexy or everyone’s favorite, but it gets the job done.

I think the issue I have with Fields is the only people that are telling me he's good are fantasy players. The NFL has told me he's worth a 6th and will be Russ' backup. Players are saying let's have this guy return kicks, not play QB. If I had Fields, I would happily give him up for a third until an actual NFL coach comes out and says he's worth starting

I'm having a similar situation with JSN. I have him and NOBODY in my league wants him for a KTC valued 25 1st.

Most QBs that change teams young never get another chance to be a full time starter. Teams prefer to either draft fresh talent or sign a proven veteran

Look at what leportas PPG were last year and compare that to the WRs in your league. Unless there is a massive TEP you likely shouldn't put any value into TE.

@@jleger714he finished as a wr2 in ppg, but the question really lies in projecting how td dependent he’ll be going forward. It feels like he could easily go for 800 and 6 next year. But he’s the 1b on a good offense so it’s just hard to parse

I was able to trade away Rachaad White and Hollywood Brown for Nico Collin’s, how we feel about that? Tiered PPR TE Premium, Dynasty Superflex, 10 team.

Wrs are very hard to trade for any value, ive tried for 2 years to trade mike williams and no takers , been tryin to trade chrisitan watson all offseason no luck , no luck trading jahan dotson eitner allmost no interest in them .....ive tried to do pick swaps, wr for rbs, picks and players , nobody wants these guys ubless your giving tnem away for like a late 3rd

The problem is all of these guys are or have been boom bust WR3s. Those guys never have value, you're trying to trade guys in the flat value range. There typically isn't much difference production wise between WR24 to WR40. The WRs that actually move and move for market value are the top 15, the guys that are top 12 finishers or have a realistic narrative to be top 12 finishers.

@jleger714 while I somewhat agre e the problem is when guys don't have 3 guys even in that range on there team, they have guys ranked 50-75 that they like just as much for whatever reason so they wouldn't give up any pick for a guy they also don't value even though he's clearly better now or has more upside than there top 3 options makes it perplexing at best....this guy literally has O'Dell puke , Diggs no thanks but at least he's good or use to be , Sutton who he traded a 3rd for , and gave davis and Alan lizard who should be cut, your telling me he has no interest in guys like Christian watson who has legit upside ,jahan dotson same thing, Mike williams who can easily be had more not much who will at least give u productive weeks , considering he is a contending team somehow with that garbage at wr ...but yet I have gotten exactly 0 interest in these guys ...doesn't make sense to me ...there's other teams just as bad at wr as this ...

@@philcapenmsgamingsports I cant speak to that guys mindset, but if that's my WR room I have zero interest. I don't see the upside of Watson/Dotson, I like Mike will as a buy low personally but he may not. Then there is the question of what else can I do? Can I go buy Adams/Dhop/Evans any WR in that range that I like for a 2nd? Sutton and Williams are about the same to me but I like Sutton more, if I just bought Sutton for a 3rd I'm not paying more for Williams. The pure number of WRs that play snaps+ the possibility of breakouts makes it where you need a partner to not only believe in the guy you're selling, but also like said guy more than the other 10-15 guys around him that could be purchased.

@jleger714 for a late 2nd no your not getting a d Adam's to Mike evans type for that, that would prob cost your 1st in this league, which he wouldn't do either , I guess I can see not liking watson but not really dotson , he has big upside he was everyone amon ra breakout for last year and was worth a 1st obv had down year and now with new qb , new offense could reallt thrive also could be just as he is , nobody knows yet, but I'd rather have him than Jerry jeudy his 3rd wr there for sure

@@philcapenmsgamingsports Washington was 2nd in passing attempts last year, and that offense was popping before the def got traded. Dotson got 80 something targets last year, I don't see how that can grow behind mclaurin and a rookie QB. Let alone a rookie QB that projects to run a lot. I like to build top heavy at WR and use my 2nds/3rds on RBs with upside.

Rachaad White is an okay RB that was fed by volume only. I much rather pickup Bucky for a 3rd rounder, as he will squeeze White out a RB1 role. White is really a RB2 on any NFL team, but the Buccs had no one else. Now the Buccs have two RB2s on the team, so White is gonna fade out throughout the season.
