Hello Buns! Welcome to Cinnabun Sundays, a weekly video series where we talk about all things bunny. WE ARE TALKING POOP TODAY! Rabbits have EXTREMELY sensitive GI tracts, which means that paying attention to their poop is essential to caring for them. This is a COMPLETE guide of the different types of bunny poop you might see, and what it tells you about your rabbit's health.

0:40 ~You know it, I actually really enjoyed this video, I feel like there are very few channels willing to go into detail about, poop, and it really shows how much you care, so thank you so much!!
This was perfect! It covered everything!! I wish there was a video like this when Whiskey was having all of his digestive issues. Great work as always!

Thank you, truly. I feel the same way! I remember panicking every time her poop would change. So as “gross” as it is, I’m glad I got to make it!
The video is great! I would just add that, if your bunny stops pooping, don't ever feed critical care without being checked by a vet first. They could have a blockage and force feeding could make it worse

Happy to have you!!
Thank you! We just adopted a bunny. Fed only pellets and hay for the first week, then gave fresh greens (1 romaine leaf). That night, I noticed runny cecotropes. We cut her pellets in half, added hay in more places in her enclosure to encourage her to eat more of it (its not helping with potty training, but healthy git seems more important), and it seems to have gotten better. We will stick with it for at least a week without her having a messy butt (she HATES being cleaned!) before we try to slowly add fresh greens back in.
So helpful! I was worried my Maybelle was having problems because her poop was not "golden" but this really reassured me!
thank u so much. new suscriber! i adopted a bunny a few days ago and here i am! as a responsible mother
This was so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so soooo helpful

I'm so glad you made this video! Because my bunnie sometimes popps the shape of a grape and I'm like is this normal but thank you so much for making this video!!👍
I’ve had rabbits for 10 yrs. Best poop box ever: cat litter box. Buy small roll of wire. Make a grid that sits above litter about 2 inches. This will save you tons of work plus keeps buns feet clean! ❤️🐇🐇

Well informed on poop 💩 u love ur cinnamon bun if more ppl could be this much of an expert on poop the world would be a wonderful place 😉💜 I’m doing my research never owner a bunny but multiple guinea pigs and they poop a lot too
These were such helpful tips! I’m a new bunny mom so I’m trying to research things as much as I can. Do you know anything about the bunny pee? Sorry to be gross.
I became a crazy rabbit parent BEFORE getting a bunny
Thanks you
hi morgan! i would love a video about the pros and cons of having a single rabbit!! i've had my bun for almost 2 years and shes super happy but i wonder if i'm doing something wrong by not getting her a partner. since CB is also a solo bunny, i would love to hear your thoughts on this!!!
You should go over GI stasis I lost my rabbit over this issue even with vet help over a week period
Why did I watch this while I was eating :')
When you suggest pineapple/juice for helping your buns GI tract, about how much do you give and how often?
HI MORGAN! Can u do a video on rabbit pee good and bad pleaseeee. I probably only food like 1 maybe 2 video but would love to hear your side as well.
Super funny
You have to collab with Lennon The Bunny!!!
His poop is never runny but it forms these flakes like solid dried blobs with normal poops
this video is SO helpful thankyou😃😀
I give my now adult rabbit alfalfa hay and 1/4 Timothy pellets with Roman mix lettuce and his poop is golden!

Alfalfa hay are for baby bunnie to Much calcium for adult bunnie Timothy or a blend of Orchard hay is better for him ....
Did you know Lennon used one of your clips the new video!
What do I do if my bun does not eat lots of hay I mean he eats hay just not as much as In would like him to. Love you and cinnabun🐰🐇😋🤗
Your video was great, very engaging! I know I'm late to the show but I felt like I needed to address two issues. #1 - never assist feed until your rabbit savvy vet has confirmed NO blockage. You can try to entice them to eat on their own, but no Critical Care or Sherwood Recovery food. #2 occurs right after #1, when discussing NO POOP you say to call your vet ✅ and get them eating THEN you say give papaya, pineapple or pineapple juice 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻. Stay away from "sweet" things, especially pineapple juice! Sweet things can make stasis WORSE. Please discuss with your vet because I'm not a vet...just a rabbit rescuer with years of experience.
i know more about bunny poop than my own poop, lol
my bunny’s poop is starting to be a dark brown, so do i just feed her timothy hay now instead of timothy hay, 1/4 cup of pellets, romaine?
How was wondering cause I need to separate all his poop and everything like from him should I give him the ones he's supposed to eat back or no
we call those pellets pearls ^^
Hi morgan, my bun is 2 months old and she is a baby . She is doing small poops is this normal for a baby or is this because of stress or something else?
That's funny 😅
I meant I'll be cleaning his Litter box and I've been throwing it away but do I supposed to let him go back and eat it or not
My bunny, Coco, has the 2nd last poop you're describing and was acting very strange this morning! She did not eat her fresh veggies, had very little hey, drank water once, had her mouth full of fur several time and I took it out of her mouth as much as i could even though there was no sign of shedding yesterday, and she's continually chewing on cardboard box and her bed!! Please help!!!🙏🤒I've been sick worried about her😢 Thank you so much for help!🙏🙏🙏❤
I adopted a bunny yesterday the previous owner was feeding him hamster food so his poop is tiny and black. So taking him to the vet tomorrow
I just got bunny’s and I wanna make sure that it’s clean but I don’t wanna clean to many cecatropes (if there is any)
CINNABUN
Hey crazy bunny mom here lol I really wanted to ask what kind of brush do you use for your bunny? I feel like my brush doesn’t nothing and she always has linked poops.
Any tips on why my bunny would be coughing while eating and then now she’s not doing that? I’m taking her to the vet, but I’m waiting on the sanctuary to get back with me.
Do you have a video about poopy butt? I'm a fairly new bunny owner and I just noticed around 2am this morning my bunbun has poopy butt? She loves pellets and fresh greens but I took pellets away last night and have given her Timothy hay and my husband gave her some kale when he woke up. My problem is I'm not sure how the get her clean, any help is very much appreciated. She is a huge part of our family
Is it okay if I take out the straw bedding from my bunny's cage bc it doesn't seem like he likes to sleep there
My pet rabbit has weak intestants so the poop my rabbit has is pretty big, for the ready she is healthy and loves to do binky’s :D
My bunny pooped these wet poops in normal size, but just wet on the outside, I wouldn’t even call them runny poops. He is only 2 months old, and he is scratching(or maybe cleaning himself up?) during the day too, I don’t know if I should be worried or just watch out for a few more days before I take him to the vet. 😢
What if I find that weird poop they are supposed to eat on the floor? Does that mean they aren’t eating it? Like they are supposed to.
what if there is a black or kinda red liquid come out from them?, I dont have bunny yet, but I got this information from the internet
oh hey, Louie’s poop made it into the video 🤣 can’t say I’d ever see the day lol!
I got a baby bunny yesterday. She is like 35 days old. And her poops are small and dark. I tought her poops small becaouse she is a baby. Is this normal that she have small poop???
I have 4 , 3 month old bunnies and I’ve had them for about a month now, one is a dwarf lop and the rest are regular lops. Weirdly the dwarf lop always have cecotropes and all 4 of them weirdly just want pellets as food and will only eat hay when they haven’t had pellets all day, is there a fix to this by any chance ? Or an explanation as to why ? Thank you !
@dariatabai2217
Жыл бұрын
pellets aren’t always necessary as long as you’re feeding enough protein, you can completely skip pellets on the condition that you’re still providing a well rounded diet.
Hi morgan when baby rabbit can stop eating alfalfa hay?
I'm worried I don't know how much veggies to give or how often to give I don't want to give dioreaeea 🥺
How do you hold the poop on your hand
I can’t wait to write this in my rabbit not book
I feed my rabbit orchard grass hay only.
Hi Morgan! So, my bunny has had two runny cecotropes today. She doesn’t like to eat hay, and does not eat as much as she should. How should I get her to eat more hay?
@StarryKitsuKat
2 жыл бұрын
I'm not her but I hope I can help in case she doesn't see this since she gets a lot of comments. Try mixing different hays, my bunny started eating more hay after I brought a hay blend (Oxbow Timothy + Orchard hay, but I'm sure other brands also have some). Try putting forage treats in the hay, they come in little bags and have dried flowers n fruit in them. Morgan has a great video about hay as well, you can check it out which can also help you. Good luck!
