One of my bun’s favorite things is the hay box I made him for digging. I took an empty box from a water delivery I had, cut the top panels off and a notch in the front so he can easily jump in, stuffed it with hay, and put some hay balls/toys in it. I like to sprinkle pellets, herbs, dried flowers, and dried veggies/fruits (when I give him fruit) in the hay and he goes wild foraging while the hay stays mostly contained. Best thing yet is the box was free so it didn’t cost me anything extra! I love to watch him dig tunnels, too 🤩🥰🐰

I wouldn’t recommend hooded or confined litter boxes. The smells of hay, pee, poo, litter, dust, and cleaning product residue all gets trapped in one area and can give your bunny a lung infection. I found putting the air purifier right next to an open litter box helps with the odor and to keep the poops contained. I put nic grids on the side I don’t want poops so they are forced to poop on the mat so it’s easier to clean.

I also don't use a hooded litter box and it rarely smells because my human cleans it 1-2 times a day.

Amazing video! Just a pro tip! Hooded litter boxes for rabbits are actually not good for bunnies at all, the provide no enrichment. They can get super hot in the summer and rabbits spend alot of time everyday in their litter box, so having it in a small dark hot smelly box is really not enriching. It also can hold smell in very well and that’s really not good for a rabbits lungs. Rabbits have super sensitive lungs and you really don’t want to hurt them. If you still like the cover on the litter box then I would recommend putting your litter box underneath a table but make sure it has no hood on it. Just a normal litter box with a table over it :) No hate just mentioning it :)

Its true i live in the Caribbean so they aren't alot of products available in pet stores here for Rabbits, hamsters etc. Unless you order off Amazon.

Hi. I'm really enjoying the energy you bring to being a bun mom. I however have a much older bunny than cinnabun. My Benjamin is well approximately 13 years old. He was found in a parking lot by a family member who has past. Now Ben lives with me. I love, love, love him. However, older buns have very different needs. For instance I've recently given up litter and a box all together because with his arthritis issues climbing in and out of a box is difficult. Do you have videos or would you consider doing videos for us with our older topsy buns.

While I enjoy gardening, we live in an area where we can’t grow anything outside 5-6 months out of the year so in preparation for getting a bun, I thought about getting one of these. Good question! I would always lead her in there with the stick, and she eventually started to associate it on her own!

I recommend a power sweeper for hay. Beats a Hoover any day and does not clog up
