I didn't know in the beginning stages that building bikes can be addictive. Since my first build, I've built two more. Now there's a hardtail frame for a bigtwin sitting in my garage just chomping at the bit to be built. Great video, man.

I am only on my second... First one was a stripped down Suzuki chopper.... Now I am building a 2 wheeled KITT (Knight Rider) themed bike out of a Honda PC800... Even though I am an electrician, I am in deep waters with all the electronics I am adding! LOL But it is addictive for sure! lol

And yeah, I spraycanned the whole bike and handpainted custom decorations using a variation of paints... This video has alot of good tips. My most important would be to never take anything apart unless you make sure you can put it back together. And definetly ask for help and advice from someone before tackling anything new.

the intruder is the coolest metric chopper platform ever made. i wanted to build one also, but i ended up going with what i already have, a 900 vulcan custom. i just started mine last summer. i do it in spurts so i can still ride. so far, i did the front end, and taller bars. i am part way through making the tall sissybar.

I've been riding for 53 yrs. The reason I'm still riding is I stayed away from death machines like these. I have owned & ridden choppers - Pans & Shovelheads. But I learned to ride stock bikes or lightly customized bikes. They handle well and stop well. They will keep you much safer. Rigid frames bounce and don't handle. They also destroy your back. Now add a springer front end that can pogo in a corner and you lose control. Your done. Brakes are another issue depending on the bike. Yes, I life changing experience - or life ending.
