    I use this kit a lot, two comments. First, the disks wear quickly, so plan to reorder. Second, because they wear quickly, they generate a lot of debris you don't want to breath but that tends to be kicked up in your face. So not only do you need to wear eye protection, but some kind of dust mask as well. The particles shed are very bad to breath.

    I have been using rubber wheels to polish the inside of ring shanks that I have sized for the last years and never use the polishing machine anymore. The problem they create is when it comes to refining your sweeps. As I run a high volume shop it is in my best interests to do in house refining and did have to adjust to the rubber debris.

    Hi Elizabeth, Interesting comment. Thanks to you, I'm sure that many of our viewers will take the debris issue into consideration as they develop their shop routines. Thanks for your support! : )

    Hi, quick question: Does it make a difference for OJA if we (the viewers) watch completely or click on ads?

  • @OnlineJewelryAcademy

    @OnlineJewelryAcademy

    Hi Gabby, YES!!! Watching videos to the very end helps the OJA to achieve a high viewer retention rating. Letting an ad play provides much needed funding to our channel. And, when someone clicks on an ad we get an even bigger piece of the pie from KZread. Great questions. Thank you for your generous $upport! : )

    Hi Finlay, We have a great ultrasonic video in our playlist. You can find the complete OJA playlist at: www.onlinejewelryacademy.com. By the way, ammonia is generally not something that is widely used to clean jewelry. You should purchase a jewelry cleaning solution from a jewelry supply company. Thanks for your support! : )
