Just got the Tisas 1911A1 45 Service for $387. looks solid, trigger is amazing, action super smooth.

One important thing you should know any novice who's purchasing a 1911. Definitely watch some videos learning about 1911 and do your homework. There good but have a learning curve

For years I never really cared or ever thought of buying a 1911 since I’ve always been an H&K USP fan but recently last fall I finally decided to just go ahead and buy one just to have one in my collection and it was this 1911a1 Service Model in 45ACP and you know what I never thought that I would ever say this but I’ve fallen deeply in love with it and it’s now my carry gun

in case you want a full guide like mine it may not have a standard spring you have to get one from wolff springs

Got a M1911A1 Army model for $300 and it's the best affordable gun I've ever bought. Already fired over 500 rounds thru it with no jams or stoppages.

Hell yeah!

I think the black plastic grips look better than the brown with the Ceracoat finish. Neither is strictly traditional 1911A1.

For me adding Novak Sights and it’s ready to go. At the price it’s easy to upgrade for the options you want.
