British doctor who took a wrong turn from the airport and was killed during the taxi violence against impounding..... and now a few days ago the American tourist who was shot in the face. What about crime??? and also illegal immigrants who are also not making things easy regarding safety in this country. We need those answers and ACTION, please!

Probably not and even if they are being sorted it will take time. What we cannot afford though is badmouthing country not unless you are emigrating but for as long we live here we have to criticize the government but can’t use our mouths to thrash talk the country itself. We in Africa there is already enough negativity about us perceived or real.

@@southpaw63 I love my country South Africa and will die for it just like majority of South Africans. However, there r a lot of bad things happening in our country as much as I'll die for it, I do criticise and bad month when things go wrong. I'm not going to be like the ANC and talk as if I'm talking about a pre 1998 or year 2000 country whereas we r in year 2023, due to finish. The ANC ruined the country and some of the bad things I've mentioned in my earlier email wouldn't have have happened if the ANC used the strategies of the previous apartheid government. Also if the ANC did listen to the white government when it was advising them on what needs to be done to maintain the good foundation that was already implemented. Moving forward it will take another 30 years even more for South Africa to return to it's former glory, including safety of it's citizens etc.

We need to stabilize Eskom first. We'll end up inviting people who will do documentaries about our failing electricity supply. Eskom is embarassing us.. How do you call people to visit only for them to be welcomed by darkness? My biggest worry is Eskom other than any other thing. I know there are certain people who wish there mustn't be any tourists in South Africa as a form to protest the ANC, I am patriotic and I love my country.
