I cry every time I see a 4070 Ti. In this price class, I hate seeing that little VRAM for $800 in 2023.

How? 4GB/32bit yields are limited, and 2GB/32bit are readily available. You know what's worst? GDDR7 starting cap will be 4GB/32bit (based on trend). Are you gonna complain both Nvidia and AMD launching 8GB card with just 64bit bus?
@t1995roger10

@@AlfaPro1337the price is too high, you can easily find a 7900xt with the same performance, 320 but bus width and 20gb VRAM... Nvidia literally has no excuse to ship the 4070 to with at least a 256 bus and 16gb VRAM
@AlfaPro1337

@@t1995roger10 Except, AMD is going tier-to-tier for 7000 series vs RTX 40 series. RX 7900 series - RTX 4090 series RX 7800 series - RTX 4080 series RX 7700 series - RTX 4070 series RX 7600 series - RTX 4060 series RX 7500 series - RTX 4050 series XTX/XT - Ti xx50 - Ti or step up. AMD did for their last gen, so why not RX 7000? Except, 7900XT has 10 memory chips, versus 8 memory chips. Also, Nvidia has better memory compression than AMD, which starting RX 5000, AMD (the last) to jump into the bandwagon of memory compression. And lastly, even if Nvidia waited for 4GB/32bit module to be readily available, you are still gonna bitch either: 1. Why a card has 8GB with 64 bit bus. 2. Suddenly the price skyrocket with suddenly an example, 4070 Ti with 32GB at 256bit bus. 3. Doesn't understand how bus width even works in the first place Heck, move on, GDDR7 starting module will likely be 4GB/32bit per module, AND not 2GB/32bit per module.

I love this video format

A build inside your build for your builder. Classic Paul right there.
Awesome vid. Very cool you are building it for your contractors nephew. I finished my very first build a little over a month ago and your channel was integral to my success. I'm definitely hooked. I game on my rig everyday and I'm super proud of it. Started from absolute zero, but I'm half way proficient in Linux now and having a blast.
Anytime I see a new Paul’s Hardware video while I’m at work, I close my office door, turn off the lights, put my earbuds in, and relax. Truly an event.
Thank you for the shout out, Paul!
Always happy to see you back in your element. Keep being awesome 💜
This is pure awesome! Nothing less. So nostalgic, yet always on point and humorous ❤
I built my first gaming pc by following one of these videos back in 2020. No experience at the time and I've been hooked since! Love the content!!

Great to have you building back in the garage. Also enjoying the house/garage remodel work.
Great video. Love how you make it practical and explain alternatives
This channel and the content are bar none above so many others, so well done, and that build is sick looking.
Thanks for the call out on the front panel header being a single block. Every case manufacturer should be doing that at this point!
Most excellent! The build looks great, & so does the garage 👍
Awesomesauce video Paul and Joe!! I'm so glad to see the garage set looking really nice 👌 👏.
Nice build, Great video. Love your content Paul!
Ohhhhhh how I’ve missed these build videos! Excellent!!!
Thanks, Paul! Love you!
Great build Paul, brilliant choice of processor and mobo, love that combo.
As always, great content. Like that you are back at your home office. I work out of mine, and night and day difference in how it helps interlace family life with busy work schedules. Hope you make this work for you as well as it did for me.
I always love watching your builds. Some real good info especially signal RGB. That will be handy.
The build turned out amazing! Hope his nephew loves his new gaming rig 💛
Garage looks amazing!!
Those Lian Li fans look 👌👌👌
I literally just finished my first build and this is the first video I see on KZread 😂😂
Clean looking build sir! I hope the contractor takes care of you as well as you have taken care of him!
its so satisfying when i watch this type of builds
Sick looking build, and the garage studio looks amazing!
Great to see the type of content I subscribed to 5 or 6 years ago! Keep it up...
I have a Hyte Y60 and their cases are totally next level. The build quality is superb but the way they have been designed from a builders perspective is amazing. Probably the best brand of case on the market right now.
Michigan here.. nice, relaxing build. Like how you went over the M.2 needing to have the cover removed and placed in the correct spot on the mb.
Paul this was great, cheers
Man, that's a nice looking build! I've never built a PC, but thanks to watching your channel and others, I've been able to do some basic upgrades to my PC recently without being afraid I'd break it. (to be fair, it was only adding some more RAM and a 2TB nvme, but in the past I would have been too worried I'd mess it up and would have had to pay someone else to do it for me).
awesome build
Great to see you back home!
woohooo, garage studio fully functional! Nice build!!
Nice built Paul
Thanks Paul
Thanks for SignalRGB reference. Looks pretty comprehensive.
Echoing others, the garage redesign looks great...feels like old times again...like a cozy sweater and hot bowl of chili on a cool, crisp fall afternoon.
Looks good!!
The 12900k and 13700k actually have the same number of cores and threads
Super clean build, those fish bowl cases are so good when done right.
Well balanced build, congrats!
Great vid as usual, pretty relaxed and you have a lovely way of explaining things without being overly technical. One question though - you're back in the garage but the last vid I saw was Fresh Start 2 and there was still a load more to do. Have a missed episode 3?
Build Video😊 I used Paul's build video in 2017, when i Build my 1st Pc 🥰
These are the best videos. Simple build ☺️
Super build - I need to build one!
Would love to see the presentation of the PC to your contractor's nephew. His face would be a picture of pure joy!
Another solid build, Paul!
super clean build Paul. GG's.
Love these builds.
Signal RGB is a must have piece of software.
Ah, this is what I needed today. Thank you Paul :)
Hell yeah back to the builds
Those lian li fans are sick looking. Best looking fans I've ever seen. And it particularly looks great in that case specifically.
Yay! Garage build! WB!
I have that Mainboard on my 13600K and love the board. Same PSU too ... Like how we all think alike.
Hey Paul, would it not of been better to mount the fans on the side as intake for the GPU as you only have exhaust throughout the entire case ?
RGB lighting drops the set bonus requirement by 1. You're good. lol
Thanks for putting links to all the hardware as well as a cheaper recommendation. I was looking to build my first pc with a 4070ti as well
Wonderful build. The guy will enjoy this pc FOR SURE! lol
Its good to see the garage:)
Why is there computer parts on this home renovation channel (jkjk keep up the good work Paul)

Why is there ? Parts ? Need a pre build too ? why so many crab on that ASUS board, why not go NZXT clean ?
I would really appreciate a video discussing the pros and cons of building a PC in a case with a bunch of fans versus an open-air build with only a minimal amount of fans. Paul is the best Techtuber so I know his video would be very informative. 😉 Which build gets dustier faster? Which is easier to clean? Which has the best performance given it's environment.
Glad you enjoy SignalRGB!
nice build 👍🏻
That is a nice looking case
The researchers also explored what would happen if consumers replaced old products with new electronics that serve more than one function
I feel Like I came back home.... Feels Good Paul!
Here in Paul’s Garage. KNAWWWLEDGE.
That’s a good looking Paul, build!
Love this ❤ comfy chillz build
Set bonus😂😂I'll steal that
My favorite part of the build is the front panel connector that isn't 10 tiny connectors that you inevitably plug in wrong. They really should standardize that whole system into something nice and easy. Guess I'll keep an eye out for a case with that if I remember to.
Great looking build, Paul! You've piqued my interest in that Y40.
Paul, don't worry, you've been re-flowered. :)
Very nice
Which I knew the software to steer all the RGB, the last built I did was controlled by a be Quiet controller, and used only their ARGB fans too. So now I have the possibility to work more flexible, thanks for the tip Paul. Much appreciated. And yes, sometimes while doing a built anything can happen, like a cable that is locked somewhere haha.
Let's goooooo build vid!
The Aorus set bonus is to be matchy-matchy is prety good Paul!
I wish I could afford a build like this

I wish Australia had Microcenter.
This is what home feels like. Paul back in the garage just in time for the holiday season : ) P.S. I recently assembled a tower for my son. I chose the 6750 xt got it at $300. I do not regret that choice. (The rest is Samsung 980 evo NVMe Gen3, 32Gb 3200 CAS 20 Corsair Vengeance, Aorus Elite V2 no wifi, and R5-3600 nonX)
I love PC building more than playing PC games :) Unfortunately it's a very expensive hobby for me.
I'm baffled as to where the air is being drawn from seeing how everything is set to exhaust
Build videos is like coming home from college and Mom making your old favorites for dinner.
I'm not big on cosmetic parts like PCI riser cables that introduce extra potential points of failure into the signal chain, but that Y40 does look awfully good with a vertical GPU in it.
Yay, build video!
Nice looking build, but a single intake fan and SIX exhaust seems kinda questionable, no?
Classic!
Heck yeah! A computer build in the garage!
Make sure you tell the kid to keep the tower off the ground about 2' to keep from sucking up the dirt being kicked around. I had my tower on a stand about 1' off the ground and drilled 1/2" holes into the shelf it sat on, it stayed cool and clean and rarely had to clean the filter.
Yay back in the garage 😊
