I like that you added the extra room for not pinching fingers. That bed looks like it will last generations!

I normally hate videos with just music for several reasons, yours I did not and I must say its amazing with all the attention to detail. I was thinking "way over engineered" but see how every part makes sense and contributes to an elegantly simple looking and solid design that most people would not be able to appreciate.

And that is how you make a piece of furniture that will last for 200 years. I'm in awe of your craftsmanship and efficient work style (not being overly worried about every detail being perfect). You appear to have cut many a dovetail in your lifetime! This is the first video of yours I've seen, and I'm subscribed with all notifications. I aspire to one day be capable of producing a piece half as awesome as what you have just done. Not a single woodscrew... wow. Did you use a CAD program to model the bed prior to building it?

instant subscription.Great vid.. Quality work.. I really loved the walk thru at the end. Showing that there are no pinch points or guillatines was a stroke of genius.. I think you are the first one to actually physically demonstrate it. and not just talk about it. it is a lesson every craftsman learns the hard way

Wow, you do amazing work. Really admire the use of hand tools. I can't believe you can make dovetail joints with a hand saw and chisel.

I can't even afford the raw wood anymore. LOL. Beautiful craftsmanship. Love the end result.

Размеры каждому свои боюсь придется) У людей немного разные пропорции, а подстройки длины тут нет.

Для больных жестковато. Нужен хороший матрас, столь же фукциональный, с изгибами. Но на бок не повернуться. Потребуется встать и выпрямить кровать. Не удобно. Хотя сама работа заслуживает внимания и похвалы. Китайцы, отличные столяры издревле.
