Nice build. If I build one of my own, I'd add just one feature: support for electrical wires so I could string a nichrome wire in place of the saw and make it a double-use tool: scroll saw and hot-wire foam cutter. Just lock the swinging arm in place and make the wire taut, then plug in a transformer to deliver the needed voltage.

I can understand what you mean, some of the videos on this channel look familiar from other channels... I want to build a scroll saw and have watched a lot of videos on this topic and noticed small differences in the details. He uses a different saw blade and therefore builds a different holder for it. And he specified the dimensions, which I personally think is great. Generally speaking, don't all the scroll saws in the world look a bit similar?

This is a nice build but when you do a KZread search for scroll saw builds yours unfortunately does not appear. So anyone planning on building one won't find yours unless already subscribed and saved (me). 🏴👍🏻

Где шатун нужен противовес иначе вибрация,в местах крепления пилки большие нагрузки может лопаться , нужно делать двойной шарнир, больные места это, нужно учитывать.

It would be cheaper and a lot less hassle to buy a decent used machine. They are readily available and the price is usually pretty reasonable because there are so many for sale.

Great video. Well done. One suggestion: maybe paint the background particle board grey, yellow or some other color so that it’s easier to see what you’re building. The unpainted particle board makes the imagery too busy.
