Great video as unusual. Did no one ask about the price of alcohol?

Well, it's a common question. Not so silly TBH. Alcohol is very expensive. Perhaps I could do a "common questions answered" video?

I am interested in the book that you are showing. Do you know if there is an english version of it? I can not find jt on the internet. Or I am blind🤷‍♀️

I don't think this exact book has been translated. But there are plenty out there. These are usually the same stories retold by different people. This one looks good. www.penninn.is/is/book/icelandic-ghost-stories But honestly, you can also just google Icelandic Ghost Stories. They are so old that they have been in the public domain for a long time and a lot of them are already online. For example guidetoiceland.is/connect-with-locals/regina/the-deacon-of-dark-river---a-ghost-story

Some of these questions are hilarious, can't believe anyone would ask. Has anyone asked about the diamonds in the lake and if they are free to take home with them? (I guess airlines & airports would not be happy with melting ice in the luggage hold - haha!)

Has "Draugaslòðir á Íslandi" been translated into English? I could try practicing reading my Icelandic, but it would help also to have a translation to consult.

Silly question about money..... In the US a bottle of coke is about $3.00 USD. In iceland, I believe that would be about 400 krona.... would you say that as four hundred or just four...? More wondering about when it gets into the thousands..... I'll be there in 17 days.... I can't wait!

I heard pick pocketing is up on the Golden Circle. Is that true, or just a rumour? Have you heard of any other scams? Speaking of scams, the car rentals used to be notorious for over insuring, is that still a thing?

These are excellent question. I think the pick picket thing was over hyped. I'll check it out. And yes, some of the car rentals are sleasy. They are a topic I need to tackle somehow.

Pray... Is not going to work. Close windows and blinds during night. Also, apparently, fans do work because these flies are very small and can't handle the wind. If you are not in a summer house close to water then its unlikely you need to worry.
