Im so sorry for that Karl. I thought Iceland was different. I hope this had been a rare thing and icelanders couls leave the car unlocked as usual. In the rest of the world it is near impossible 😢

It was fine for me for 20 years. But these things do happen.

That sucks ❤ I had my car broken into and I just remember feeling so icky, like someone was in my personal space. I even threw out the Chapstick that was in there, in case for some reason this person touched it or used it 😅

Truly sorry to hear that. It is a weird feeling when you experience something like that. Handbags, huh? Glad you can keep some humor in this. Perhaps you should leave a note in the car that if the thief returns, can he please clean up the mess after they are done stealing.

He was reported by my neighbors. Mine was not the only car that night. He's apparently well known by the police and a repeat offender.

Haha yea. It was only coins. Some reason I still keep those in the car even though parking meters don't need them any more 😅
