I thought he meant it was that much to re gild clock too, so the owners weren't the only ones misunderstood.

"Crazy"? One is a professional gold illuminator, the other is there, being filmed for television, with her father's clock that she's been preciously winding every day for decades. The only "crazy" I can detect, is in your dismissive comment.

@@combrogi No, for myself. The biggest difference between me and them, is the bodies we were born into. And I took some time to do that thing were you empathize with someone by imagining what it would be like, to, say, work 40+ years to become a master of a craft, and still be dismissed as a "crazy old lady". I have a feeling that if you spent just 1/10 that time developing a skill, and had people mockingly dismiss your abilities, you wouldn't find it to be very funny.

Wonder what the appraisal amount is. Didn't say anything about retail, or auction, or insurance did he?

Clearly says 2000 pounds. Auction price is inferred. Retail will be more. Insurance more again.

@@southerncharity7928 Thanks! At 3:31, he says it will be 2,000 to get the outside fixed, and then something about 'that's what it's worth'. And I thought he meant the fix is worth it.
