Happy Birthday, you two! Also, easy dessert to make in a Dutch oven while camping: 2 big cans of sliced peaches in light syrup 1 box yellow cake mix 1. Pour the peaches and syrup into your dutch oven. 2. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the peaches. 3. If you happen to have cinnamon, sprinkle over the dry cake mix. 4. Put your Dutch oven, with lid, over fire, or in coals. Place a few coalson the lid. 5. Cook for 1 hour. 6. Carefully remove from fire, and dump off the coals from the lid. After about a 10 minute rest, serve it forth, with or without ice cream. 💜😃

Many years ago a friend and I did a pineapple upside down cake in the Dutch oven in the coals. It was delicious!

I didn't know Vaseline was flammable. Now that I think about it, it's Petroleum. 😂

That’s why people put it on cotton balls and dryer lint to use as a fire starter.

I got my other half an lectric bike for an early bday present. Well.lets say i cat wait for mine.. i have ridden his 41 miles in 3 days.. I have lung cancer (stage 3 large cell) and been fighting for 5 yrs.. i refuse to give up even being sick.. just becuse you may have limitations there is always a work around.. never give up.. enjoy life to the fullest.. no matter what may stand in your way , ppl have to learn to get out of their own way to live happily HAPPY CAMPING & TRAVELS ❤

Thank you for bringing up the defacement of the trees. We are mountain lovers and frequent the Shenandoah national Park, Blue Ridge, Mountains, and the Smokies. It is heartbreaking to see the defacement, whether it be with a marker or carvings. People just need to remember that they aren’t the only ones there and that other people, want to be able to enjoy the beauty God created for us.

Most of the black marks on aspen trees are due to injuries caused by deer and elk antlers when they deliberately run against the tree. I think it's when they try and rub the velvet off in the spring. Dinner looked delicious!
