Dates in Excel seem to be a very troublesome area for many people. Some feel there are bugs in Excel, some just keep seeing errors while working with Dates.
Let’s clear all these issues and understand how to very easily use dates in Excel.

    This is a great help. Thanks a ton. Wanted to know - if we have to calculate percentage of dates - like eg - between 01.01.2020 to 31.11.20 which date will be 60% of the time..?? Basically to calculate to shelf life..

    You will need to use =countif function to count number of occurrences of a particular date in the whole list, and then divide that count by the total number of dates to get the required %

    as for the month part, i do exaclty tha same thing,insert the same code but as a result it gives me mmm, no the name of the month! what's the problem?
