A Drive Through Sandy Creek Park On B.A. Steinhagen Lake

On a hot summer day in the summer of 2019 we took a drive through Sandy Creek Park on B.S. Steinhagen Lake.
Sandy Creek Park is a Corps Of Engineer park that was constructed in the 1940s on the shores of B.A Steinhagen Lake. The lake was constructed mainly for power generation, water supply and recreation.
Sandy Creek Park is a developed camping area located on the southeast shore of B. A. Steinhagen Lake. The park is located on County Road 155 (south of US 190), approximately 12 miles west of Jasper, Texas. The park contains 78 campsites, (35 sites with 50 amp electric and water; 34 sites with 30 amp electric and water; 6 sites without water or electric; and 2 sites with screened shelters, 30 amp electric and water), 3 boat ramps (one lane each), 3 waterborne restrooms (2 with showers), 1 vault toilet, 1 group shelter, a playground and volleyball court, 2 fishing piers, and 1 trailer dump station.
Sandy Creek Park is open year-round. There is NO SWIM BEACH in the park and that is not a bad thing since campers have been feeding the aligators and they are everywhere and will eat your pets so watch out!.

Morning, Bob. Park has a nice layout. Actually, better than neighbors, Martin Dies. Going to be at Double Lake campground in Coldspring, TX Nov 7 thru 10 for Veteran's Day. Do you ever go there? Maybe see you somewhere down the road..

No Sir, this campground is located about 8 miles from Martin Dies JR that is just past the max range for Little Red.. Yappy got restless so we jumped in the truck and went for a ride.

in your scooter runs it would be nice it you would slow down and show what the sites look like

I create 2 videos for every campground that I camp in, the FPV ride through and the Experiential video. Stats show that viewers drop off if the scooter run is done a slower speeds. It is more intended to show you what to expect when you are planning on driving you RV into the park. The experience video show more site details.
