About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

England is so cool. It’s about the size of Louisiana but has the best rock bands, writers, comedians, and actors. I lived in blackpool back in the 80’s and I miss the UK. What a special place

I agree that England has the best actors. In the US most actors have family members who are actors, directors, and producers. They were pretty much born into wealth, so I imagine it's not like they had to work all that hard. Based on reading the bios of most UK actors, they developed an interest in acting on their own as a kid or teenager. Their parents weren't in show business. In fact they had working class jobs. I feel like that's why they're so much more talented than American actors.

@@dreamcollector6811a lot of American actors are terrible. There are loads of British and Australian actors working in LA that dumb Americans think are actually American simply because they can pull off convincing American accents.

the most cheapest suction cup mount I could find on amazon. (as initially it was just an experiment) you should find one for less than £10 placed on the inside top of the windscreen the smoothness is really down to the GoPro 8 and its stabilization set to boost.

I’m from the U.S and I’m afraid of driving on the wrong side of the road out of habit. Has anyone had this problem? Or is it easy to adjust?
@DavesWalks
3 жыл бұрын
Hmmm from what I have heard it is easier to adjust than one would expect as I know a lot of people whom drive in Europe and they have to swap sides of the road there. I would say its probably down to each persons own confidence levels, wouldn't recommend for a new driver.

As an American who has once (for about a week) driven in England, watching this gives me PTSD! 😂 Honesty, the driving on the left was relatively easy to get used to (with some concentration and focus), but I had problems keeping my car centered in the proper lane because I was so used to the typical "sight picture" from the left the seat. Being on the right side of the car while driving was difficult to get used to and several times, I ended up hitting the left curb with my left rear tire when turning left because I was not used to more than half of the car being left of me! It was not easy, and I'm thankful I didn't hit any parked cars in the left shoulder while I was there.
Fabulous footage, smooth 4k, no anoying narration or music! Is the cam on the inside of the car?
@DavesWalks

Hi there, Cam is on the inside of the car, using a suction cup mount 😊
Congratulations ! You have passed the Practical Part of your Driving Test. Now, one short question : You are entering two back-to-back Roundabouts with 4 and 6 exits respectively and wish to exit on the third of the second. ; Answer either A) panic B) Catch a 'Bus.
