Hello, I have just finished watching all of your videos and have subscribed. Thank you for making them, I have enjoyed all of them and have even learned some. I am in southeast Kentucky and I am raising Kiko goats. We have 35 acres that I am currently using. The property is up in a hollar with no close neighbors with lots of brush. Yeah, that's why I went with goats. I free range mine, with an LGD (I know the majority of people can not do what I do). I find they typically make a circuit around "home base". They will typically head in one direction in the morning, come back to the barn to relax and chew their cud, head out in another direction in the afternoon, coming back just before feeding time. Yes, they are bucket trained and "cookie" trained, so they are easy to pen up at night. One thing that is a concern in my area for goats is water. I was told by our extension office that the majority of well water in our area is sulfur water. This inhibits the absorption of copper. It is recommended that rain water be used for goats. I have a rainwater catchment system on both my main barn and my goat barn which is hooked up to one of those automatic float valves. I notice that it has been 5 months since you last posted a video. I hope all is well and that you will be posting again. I am still fairly new at goats. It has been difficult to find good, quality, and informative videos that deal with goats.

Just wanted to express our gratitude for you sharing your knowledge. We are just south of Birmingham and we are diligently working to get our property ready for sheep next year. Hello, we are still kinda new to sheep. Hoping to dress a couple of withers this fall. But I'm wondering, we have 2 ram sheep that I thot we would use for breeding but they're not as docile as we hoped. Can we still castrate them even though they are developed. One is 18 months and the other only 5 months but developed. We normally band small males. Any suggestions? Will the meat taste well? Use knife? Thank you
