@@PhatOofYeah, they did have a look at cheap gaming chairs, instead of only focusing on high end ones, but I think that's because the vast majority of ppl do buy cheap gaming chairs. However, that doesn't mean Razer and Secretlab don't use the same OEMs to source parts for their chairs, especially since both have factories in China. The quality of the parts are decent, but it's a moot point, because we know that they don't hold up as well when compared to most mid tier to high end office chairs.

    2 ай бұрын

@@1HPyou’re correct about the adjustability. If that’s what you value then I can see why this would be appealing; but why not go for an established brand with lots of adjustability such as the Steelcase Leap v2/Gesture or something similar? I just have a bad impression about any major gamer brand when they make chairs. These type of racer type of seats were designed to be in sports cars to hold you in place when taking the corner at high speeds (hence the bolstering) so I’m not sure how this translates into a desk chair. I can see that you specialize in ergonomics so I won’t try to debate you. I am a plastic surgery resident so I somewhat know about posture and such but mainly deal with soft tissues; just my two cents :)

Racing seats, which gaming chairs are modeled after, weren't designed for ergonomics or longterm comfort, they're designed to lock you in place so you don't get knocked around while taking corners and bumps at speed. A pair of stiff armrests, a couch pillow and a bit of lumbar support can only go so far to improve the ergonomics.

From this video, it looks like there are no more "wings" on the seat, you know, those wings on the side of the seat with metal bars on them that push your thighs towards the inside. From the video it looks like they are now soft, same as the Enki, which is a big improvement, and honestly the biggest improvement from v1. Weird you never mentioned it, it was the single deciding factor for me not buying the original.

I really don’t game very much at all. - Most of the time I try to keep my spine straight at work, or lay down for relief (like when I’m watching your video right now, laying down) The only thing that I would love would be an inversion table. Or something that would put me upside down. That way I could straighten out my spine with gravity:-/

This makes my original Iskur that I'm sitting on like a "beta test". The right arm rest is loose since day one and there are no screws I can tighten more, it must be something structural inside. It started squeaking after few months and after 3 years the "leather" is starting to break and it feels like it'll soon completely apart.

Colton's gonna be driving his shitbox and one day see a sign that says "merge to the 2 parallel left lanes" and he's gonna turn into oncoming traffic. Get this man off the roads and into math 101.

Ngl, looks like the iskur is made right from the same factory that secretlabs uses, or they're using SL as their supplier???? the parts are identical and even the stitching language is basically almost a clone. I assume this is mainly due to same factory but that's REALLY close looks/shape and definitely part wise.

Looks just like every other "copy, paste" gaming chair.. Buy an office chair or executive chair if you're looking for comfort :D

I'd avoid a gaming chair, and instead get a proper ergonomic office chair. I almost made a huge mistake by buying the Secretcrap Titan, but thankfully I came across videos from reputable furniture experts on KZread and up getting the Aeron. I've had it for 2 years now, and it's been amazing. You don't need to spend a huge amount of money on a good chair, but just make sure it's got a synchro tilt with a range of different adjustments.

@@StardustLegacyFighter yeah im not gonna buy a gaming char, i dont like how most of them look and they also dont look like they are comfortable.. But at least now i know my desk is a bit to high so i might lower it or get a foot rest :)
