A Different Approach To Busses...

Музыка

It's always fun to think of new ways to mix a track. This is a very different approach to bussing within a mix that just makes sense to me, and I hope it does to you too.

The waves studiorack finally opening the road to third party plugins really opened up that new approach you depict here in many ways . Make the whole thing potentially endless in terms of stereo manipulation, tone shaping and great automation indeed

Great ideas here! Would be fun to play with this concept in addition to my usual multibus setup

Interesting…in a live setting I’ve grouped instruments to sub channels on the basis of their frequencies to assist with quick tweaks as a gig progresses…but have never considered a similar concept as you’ve demonstrated here…food for thought …thanks Sam 👍🤘

Quite possibly. When I spoke to him it was mainly about cupcakes and dirty jokes, but I’m sure there were some mixing tips in there as well!
