A Dermatologist's Skin Care Channel - Introduction
What causes acne? Does botox work? What moisturizer should I use? What is the scientific evidence behind the best skin care products and regimens?
If you've ever wondered these things, you're in the right place. Dr. Syed, aka @realskindoctor, is here to give you the scientific facts about the skin care world. There is too much fluff out there on social media and the internet, and large cosmetic companies are confusing the population with their misleading advertising when it comes to skin care products. Get information you can TRUST about the most important topics in skin care and dermatology from a medical doctor who is an expert in the field.
In this video, Dr. Syed introduces himself and the channel! Don't forget to like, subscribe, and comment!

Hii ! Big fan
Really excited to see more of your content! We definitely need more dermatologists on KZread!
Your humility is just admirable......maasha Allah 🥰🥰🥰🥰
So informative. Thank you.
Dearest Doctor, I am so lucky to have found this channel since everything you teach is evidence-based and scientific. Because the skin care world out there is totally crazy. What you do on this channel, that is, teaching people about real skin care, is commendable. You want to share what you have learnt especially to people who are in poor countries like mine who have no access to a good doctor but only have phone data to access KZread. You are a true doctor, who wants to serve the less privileged.
I just discovered you and am obsessingly watching all your videos. Bravo, Doc. I feel like deinfluencing is a full time job
I appreciate the ethos build up. I also appreciate scientific back up. I'd like this channel to be my go-to skin care educational channel, because I don't connect as well with all the female skin care videos, which there are a lot of, as a male myself. G'Day to you, sir
He's adorable!😗
Got here from your live with Ali, loved everything you said and looking forward to your channel!

Hello ! A follower from Ali Abdaall right here 👋 I'm glad that you started your own channel. Looking forward to the up coming videos about skin care and medical training journey. Good luck ! Just a question about a specific skin issue I had for couple years now and it's really bothering me. My skin peels off like crazy in the oily T zone, it looks like dandruff but on my face and my body. And so you just know I have a dry skin. Thanks a lot ! Can't wait for the next video !

Thanks so much for the follow! I'm hopefully going to be posting much more regularly in these next few weeks, so watch this space! In terms of your specific problem, I can't legally give 'medical advice' over the internet without a consultation, but I recommend you looking into a condition called 'seborrheic dermatitis', as it sounds classic for what you're describing!
Mashallah glad to see you here i am sure that you will not miss guide the people because you are a Muslim
keep it up maaaaannnn✌

Make a video on a complete night anf day skincare routine just an easy routine. I have a dry and dull skin not acne but just a dull skin so I have to put makeuo on to look presentable. Kindly recomend some easy night and morning skincare.
We want you to talk about hyperpigmentation Thank you.
What’s your thoughts on Obagi?? I’m currently using this for Malesma. Please talk about malesma treatment
Can you recommend skin care, deodorant, etc. products for guys at different price points? I think that would be great. Simple steps to follow
Followed your chat with Ali Abdaal. I have some acne type situation on the back of my neck and on top of my head. I had it for years. My GP doesn't' send me to specialist and gives me betnovate type cream and gets rid of me. Betnovate type creams suppress them as long as I am applying the cream. Sometimes I see blood on my pillow. What do you recommend that I should do? I am thinking of travelling to Turkey to show to some specialist.

Hey Fayyaz! Thanks so much for following the channel. I'm going to be doing a bunch of content talking about acne like disorders and giving overall advice for it in the coming weeks, but I can't give individual medical advice over the internet so can't be as helpful in your specific case unfortunately!
Give is the simplest treatment cause right now no st is the ussue

It's impossible for me to say for sure! I recommend speaking with a local doctor who can evaluate you in person!

Do you have a video about acne? Because all the titles I see don’t contain « acne » Am I looking at it in a wrong way?
Is it possible to grow eyebrows with castor oil?
Can you make a video about what percentage is safe to use regular base to only onces in week of all activitie ingredients ? ( Like niacinamide 5% is safe and derma approved i hear but most of companies make over 5% like the ordinary itself , also like salicylic acid 2% is most effective but i have 3% salicylic acid ointment from a pharmacy. So i want to ask if it's too much to use 3% salicylic acid also which percentage is for what and how should we use if a product have more then 3% salicylic acid. ) I hope u understand what i want.

@@usamasyed What are the good channels? A lot of them bash the « natural skincare world » saying they are not evidence based. But then I just watched your video « SCAM » And you tell There are not so much scientific evidence. I am lost
Have Eczema on my right elbow its really itchy. Phoned my Doctors and there giving me a steroid cream and zerobase. Do wet wraps work? I will look forward too hearing from you.😮😮😊
Too bad you are already stopping your videos about skincare You said in this video you’ll talk about laser, etc I am struggling finding the right info for any skincare products Because even some doctors like Doctorly on YT say a lot of things about « scientific evidence based » They recommend a lot of those brands we see everywhere… are they paid to promote them? I have so many questions :/
R u on ig? If yes whats ur id pls
