Only put a certain amount as a down payment until half or more than half is built... example, if a contractor agrees to build a house for $200,000, you shouldn't give more than $50,000 until half or more than half the house is built and do not deviate from that, but be prepared to show proof of funds (the $200,000)
After watching this video I have decided I am now a contractor. If anyone wants to hire me please visit me under the waterville bridge next to the goodwill
