Very well done. Thanks for the history lesson.. My late younger brother and I saw the Impossibles in reruns and we loved these guys. They DO need to be reintroduced, NOT a reboot. Maybe it’s just me, but Fluidman resembles actor Tom Hanks, LOL!!!😁😁😁

Great Job. I watched this as a kid too. I’m now 63. In Australia this came out a year later 1967 and was the year I started playing music so was quite sucked into this one, but my all time favourite cartoon was the Bird of Steel “Super Chicken” with Fred his trusty sidekick. Fred would pull out a Martini Shaker and mix up the “Super Sauce” which would turn Henry Cabot Henhouse the III into Super Chicken this tiny masked chicken in Cavaleirs outfit in Red White & Blue and a little cup hilted Rapier to cut thrust parry the evil adversaries. It was a scream. Even my parent loved Super chicken as all the gags had hidden double meanings the kids missed but the adults would go into fits over saying “ should we let the kids watch this honey?” like all the double gags when Fred made the super sauce “what no Olive” and alcohol gags and the way Super Chicken would bounce around the room from the potent Super Sauce, “ better go easy on the component B Fred”. He had a vehicle too that would fly and drive and go in or on water calked the Souper Coupe X-R shaped like giant egg. I still love Super Chicken. It was THE cartoon of my childhood next to the Flintstones before they went goofy and cheapskate ratings grabbing that generally loses viewers. The other really good cartoons though were Rocky and Bullwinkle with the Classic “Fractured Fairytales” that were always very appealing to adults too, with Peabody the Genius Dog and his pet boy Sherman. They would go back in time in the Wayback machine and meet Paul Revere or some other famous guy and always help these otherwise useless guy that had complexes history did not inform about because Peabody and Sherman helped them save face. Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Bullwinkle the Moose we’re always being attacked by Russian spies Boris Battenof and Natasha to raise another crop of hypnotised kids just as school more indoctrinates than educates so the kids don’t question an economy that is basically a Ponzi scheme backed up by dark cash and the OPEC mandate. The real reason in fact why the Russians are being hated in the media in fact because BRICS is an honest Banking system unlike the FED that is economic enslavement. Tour leaders have no soul ( quite literally but they are counting on the fact it take you 60 years to work out they are all the lowest form of crook the lying confidence trickster that betray our trust and are as evil as Satan himself. Wonder why that would be?

Been wondering if anybody would make a video about this cartoon.. so glad it became possible! You did really good as well!! It makes me extra happy that you gave the villains some attention as well (as the #1 fangirl of the villains i think), good to know someone else has the Puzzler as a favorite! They went so hard on his design and for what? I’d also sell my arm and leg for a full album with the other Impossibles songs. The “Little Sally Anne” is one of my favorites and I’d adore a full version of it.. but I guess it’ll never happen. Makes me wonder if the other songs are partially lost media by now. I really hope you gain more attention as well, and I wish you luck on future video productions! My only nitpick is the little noises at the start of the powerscaling and I’m very certain it’s a little audio error, but still enjoyable!

Very well made "Cartoon Trash Productions". I grew up with Hanna-Barbera and wrote my Senior HS paper on the company (back in the sixties). HB had their own recording studio production (HB Records) and their own musicians/singers who provided the music/song tracks for many of their shows. "The Impossibles" had nine different songs which were played throughout the episodes. Two separate recordings of complete songs exist that I know of - as a teenager, we loved their tunes. It was at par with other cartoon shows of the day "The Archies", The Beatles" (featuring actual songs from the Fab Four but with dismal animation), and a few others... Sadly enough, network were "starving" HB Productions with little funds for animation production and political parent organizations were getting into the action against HB, Warner Brothers, ... cutting their advertisement, funding, etc... in these early days of social action, political correctness, gun laws, etc... This affected greatly the funding of the company and forced them to start outsourcing some of the production to Asia. How sad as an entire generation of Baby Boomers grew up watching these morning cartoons and learning that the good always triumphs over the "bad". One thing I would like to emphasize about HB Productions was the friendship of Hanna and Barbera nurtured between one another (they alternated as leader of their company each year) and the loyalty they cultivated/promoted towards their staff (animators, musicians, artists, ...) unlike... Disney under Walt and his brother Roy. When MGM closed their animation department, laying off HB's staff, Joe and Bill realized that most of their staff were raising families, some were married within the company, and it would be tragic for these "animation specialists/workers/technicians..." to find work as other studios were also "recycling" their cartoon libraries. Joe and Bill worked real hard to save and sell Cartoon business to an emerging television audience, both created a "family" within the workings of their company. There is, perhaps, a lot to learn from their leadership and values for our new generation of "cut-throat" leaders, investors, and CEO/CFOs. Thank you again to "CTP" for this great presentation. Ciao, L (nostalgic Baby Boomer),

🎉I enjoyed your video about a beloved cartoon from my childhood. Just a note, the ethnic stereotypes portrayed, while offensive today, were not unusual in the 50's & the early 60's in mainstream entertainment. Unless you were a member of that ethnicity, you would probably not think about its offensiveness. A common game at the time was "cowboys & Indians." But these stereotypes were also lampooned, in The Munsters, Herman was lost on a reservation where the Native Americans talked normally when out of sight instead of the stereotypical "Indian" speech pattern. An Archie comic has Reggie/Archie try to greet some Native Americans on a reservation in "Indian" style, the Native Americans promptly call their friends over to listen to that "crazy cat with his far out jive"!

No. The Impossibles were 18 and 19 years old, back when the legal drinking age was 18. (Remember, the drinking age was not raised to 21 until 1984! This was a generation earlier.) Many real rock and roll bands were mid to late teenagers in 1966. (The Beau Brummels, Dino, Desi & Billy, The Robbs, The Left Banke, The Gentrys, The Crystals, The Pixies Three, and The McCoys, are just a few.) A lot of these groups toured with tutors to keep up thier educations, and performed live during summer vacations while off from school.) Not sure if any had the time to fight crime and develop superpowers though! 😂 )

(Thankfully no)!! Future Quest had it's good points - the Impossibles story in it was NOT one of them!! They were mostly out of character, the friendship and camaraderie of the cartoon was not shown, (should have concentrated on that rather than their origin story; I'd say a mysterious background works better for them), the token female, while not a bad character in herself, was a distraction and disruption as an Impossible member, and that awful harpy Deva gave me the impression she would sneer at the Impossible's fans while gloating over her association with the band! Some art of them was nice, (some better than others even when by the same artist). I was actually glad they were not even mentioned in the following "Future Quest Presents" series!
