    Hi Harry, What a great idea for cooking a Chicken. Instead of using Tape maybe some wire would have been good to tie the paddles to the shaft. I carry a few small rolls of various gauge wire and even a few wire coat hangers they take up no room and its amazing what you can fix with a bit of wire. Keep the great videos coming. Cheers Pieter

    omg that chicken looked so tasty (lemon myrtle next time?) i can't wait to start our trip around Aus just bought a coaster and will be dragging the triton along to get a bit more remote, there's nothing like cooking in the bush and banging out some good tucker. great vid I'll be giving this a crack along my travels... ps the only thing missing was the nice thick gravy.....mmmmm chicken chips and gravy

    Looks well worth the wait and tastes like "chicken" should taste. I've got one of those braais kicking around the back so might try this recipe in my garden. No river though so will just get my 3 year old to turn the spit. He'll love it he's always telling me he loves camping.

    Have started using a home made tripod to hang meat over the coals and has turned out awesome. Love the inspiration, looks like now I’ll have to try a river powered rotisserie Chicken! West is Best 🍺
