What a gorgeous place to live. I love farmland and forest. Do the trees between the fields serve any purpose, like to protect them? I assume the hay is for animal food and bedding?

Thanks! This part of the county is pretty hilly and also contains several creeks, so a lot of the hills and low areas weren't historically farmed and were left as trees. We like to keep trees and thick brushy areas for wildlife habitat. And yes, the hay is used for cattle.
