Do what’s called a “French drain”between the two grass types mate, small pebbles and then larger stones on the outside and design it so it drains into the pond, give it a google, great work!

You could ask a tennis club with clay courts for a flatener (don't know what you call the things that smooth the surface). Could be tied to your traktor mower. Not sure if it's too light though!

Ben, can please do a video with you using the glysophate on the summer grass and the paspalum, I'm suffering with both of those in a section of my couch grass from my neighbour, just picked up some barricade to stop them coming in again. Just like you I'm frustrated mate.
