A Day in the Life: Vanlife in Lockdown...Baking Lasagne and Cake on the hob with my new Omnia Oven
I'm Carly, welcome to my channel! In 2017 I decided to take the leap into full time van life. I bought and converted a LWB Renault Master with no previous knowledge or skills, and have been living in it ever since.
In this video, I give you an insight in to a what a typical day looks like while living in a van during lockdown in Chamonix, France. I also explore the possibilities of cooking a two-course meal on a stove top Omnia oven. If you're a fan of lasagne or chocolate cake. This one's for you. :)

@@Cooaroo it all feels natural and flows beautifully!! And your faerie lights are fav of mine too. Have you ever considered opening two skylights on your van...gaze the stars and see the cloudscapes ?

Alexandre Bricout I only recently started the channel but built the van 3.5 years ago so didn’t make any videos. But I may do some talking about it at some point.

😲🤤that looks so good! Chocolate lasagna cake! It's a new recipe...oh wait lasagna AND chocolate cake. Okay well that's good too 😁 I must say, I'm sure it's tough at times but I bet it's amazing, most of the time, living out of the van. I'm jealous...🤔I think I might buy a van🤣😂 Great video! I look forward to the next one. I'm sure you're dying to get outside. You said your lockdown was ending soon. Have you been back out yet?

Shell Shocked Farms it was pretty tasty! 🤤 living in the van is probably the best decision I ever made. 🙂 Absolutely dying to get outside again, can’t wait! The only thing I’ve been able to do for the last 7 weeks is go to the supermarket etc. It’s been very strict here and we haven’t been allowed to go to the mountains, even for exercise. So very excited to get out hiking and climbing again!

This whole thing is ridiculous 🙄 Well you've still got a place here whenever you and Matt want to come climb in Tennessee, Georgia, or North Carolina. We've got tons of climbing. I'd love to start getting together with other climbers and just going to climb. Great vid. Can't wait for the next video. .... don't wait so long this time😂🤣 jk, be safe!

spare Obviously the hole in the middle means it would be difficult to cook a pre made pizza but there’s a good recipe for a calzone in the book that comes with the oven. I haven’t tried it yet, that will have to be next. 🙂
