Shooting a fly fishing road trip movie from Austin to Wyoming the next couple of weeks. Perfect timing!!

I’m so glad I found this channel again. I got rlly into fly fishing (never got a pole) a couple years ago as a pre teen and after my bipolar symptoms came out I lost a lot of my interests but I’ve been healing and I haven’t thought about fly fishing since 8th grade until today I thought about that dude I used to watch who would go to the most beautiful places in a bus to fish and I searched “fly fishing” and you were the first channel to pop up! I think being interested in this again signifies a point in my life that myself is coming back after years of loosing me

Man not sure why it took me so long to find this channel. I grew up with a starter fly rod combo from Cabelas when I was 5 years old. I only dream one day I can travel and fish like you guys do. I grew up in the seirra's, fishing upper owens, hot creek, east walker, tubing crowley for toads with streamers and other lakes. This questiion is random but one of the guys i saw wearing the Fishpond Thunderhead Submersible. I just got one and love it but still feeling things out. If you guys or any followers could give me there thoughts i would appreciate it. More importantly solid channel and cant wait to see you guys on the river one day. I will have bloody beers for sure. Cheers boys!!!

Thanks for the BTS tour-super interesting. It was a good reminder that whilst the audience sees you work product, it’s often easy to forget that this is your business which needs to pay the bills and provides you with all the stresses and rewards as a small business owner. Hopefully more of the latter than the former as those mosquitoes sounded intense 😁

Hey Scotty! I love fly fishing and all of your videos have made me love the sport even more. I am up at App State, and I have been trying to go out and fish as much as possible. Currently I am an aspiring entrepreneur in film making and I would just love to do what you guys do all of the time. I love fishing, filing, and and editing. I’m currently using free editing softwares, but they don’t have many features and some of them are very slow. What kind of editing software do you use? Again you have been one of my biggest inspirations and I admire your work so much. Keep doing what you love!!

Would love to see how you go from a blank slate to the finished product and what programs you use. I’m a small time KZreadr here in south Texas making fishing content. 4 years into it and 3,500 subs and 200+ videos.
