Gosh ,the meals you prepare for them look amazing .! I would eat it ,even with the dry dog food on top . I When I used to feed my Akita, he would just look at it as if to say "what is this shit!? " then I would fry up some ground beef ,add some rice , put an egg or two I there and he would inhale it ! He wouldn't eat dog bisqiuts , nor did we feed him that stuff anyways but he would eat grapes or pieces of vegetables . He was a strange eater ! He was such a handsome dog though.! . I Miss him dearly

They are really well mannered and socialized but I would recommend a little of leash manners because I know they are a vv strong breed and may be a little hard to control both dogs at times.

1:33 yes…I totally agree…I have a beautiful Akita myself…she’s black and white and is my lifelong companion…she sleeps right beside me and never leaves my side…why do you keep your Akitas in a cage not in the house???…Akitas need and love being beside their family’s at all times…I don’t understand why anyone would own a dog and not keep them in the house beside them…especially an Akita…

Thank you! When they were young my mom often took them to her workplace, she worked at a postal office where the dogs would frequently meet kids and people in general. I'd say that by the time my pups were 12 weeks old they already met like 500 hoomans lol. The other big thing contributing to this is puppy school where I took them frequently

Yes, we have a huge yard, a nice grassy area where they can run around and play so they were raised outside since day 1, they really like it!

Yes, their diet includes a little bit of fish Salmon oil

No I don't recommend this I work with a lot of breeds and I definitely wouldn't recommend 2 of the same gender when it comes to American akita

Can they be together un supervised when she is not in heat

Yes, they can be left alone, although they very rarely are unsupervised

I believe socializing them from a young age with other dogs would be a good thing. Taking them to puppy school or playground where they can adapt to other doggos from a young age is the most important thing I guess

I have a female and a male akita that I rescued both, is it possible to have 2 males with out them fighting for dominant position?

I would say that if two male puppies grow up together then it's possible that they tolerate eachother. However two grown male will most certainly fight, this depends hugely on the socialization and training too, it's complicated and can't be stated for 100% sure
