A Day in the Life of English Teachers in Prague (2019)

Teaching English in Prague is exciting and a fantastic way to spend a few years of your life. Two English language teachers share their experiences of teaching and living in Prague. Follow them on a typical day to check out their ESL teaching jobs and social lives outside of the class.
Both of these ESL teachers are graduates of The Language House TEFL. The Language House is the most popular TEFL certification course in Prague and graduates hundreds of new English teachers each year. No two teachers have the same teaching jobs in Prague. The Language House TEFL is great at helping their graduates find work in schools, companies, preschools and online.
If you have ever considered teaching English abroad, do yourself and favor and check out their program - The Language House TEFL www.thelanguagehouse.net

You might want to add a disclaimer that (at least from my understanding) drinking in public in Prague is illegal.

Lol what a comparison, thats crazy... How does the guy even pay rent with a schedule like that... Online teaching must have spiked while i was sleeping. Also, what is it about kindergartens that they pay so much..im a bit surprised by the pay, given that its in Czechia.

Ludwig Vonn online teaching is huge these days and most companies pay around $20 or more per hour for quality (and qualified) teachers. The Language House helps with all of this and most of our grads have some kind of online job as well as classroom job.

@@TheLanguageHouseTEFL Interesting stuff. I did some online teaching but it was a pain in the ass because it takes a lot of time to build up a clientele and the money wasnt good. I'm planing to move to Prague by the end of the year, seems like I will have more options than I thought I would have. Thanks for the answer.

I wish to know if anybody will be still using Czech language in 10 years from now in that beautiful city of Prague as scary as it could sound it seems like it's going to be the truth one day. More and more checks speaking citizens are moving out of Prague Center because it's getting more expensive because of the foreigners moving in and buying all the real estate damn it

They are moving out of the center, not out of the country.... What is so bad about people making the country's economy better? Czech is on the rise the last 10 years..im pretty sure the foreign capital and work power has something to do with it...but im not a pro..
