How many tables do you normally play at once Luuk?
Watched until I found out I were playing Omaha
Love the video Luuk! just found your channel- going to have to binge watch and note take the last 2-3 years of content ive missed- due to being from another country with limited sites may see you in the GG rush cash streets!
Very interesting to see some behind the scenes, would love more of it!

Pretty sure playing top set aggressively on mono flops is reflected in solvers. It's counterintuitive but helps you on paired runouts and has massive equity vs lower sets and getting small to medium flushes to fold is great.

i like the raise at 9:23. It may not be standard with your specific hand, but the fact alone that with his sizing he wont be able to get in all the money on the river tellös me he probably doesnt have a full house the majority of the time. I thinks players will be super flush heavy in this spot.

Thanks Samir! Good point on the sizing! Totally agree 👌
I'm just starting to learn PLO on the micro stakes at GG. Since you are from the Netherlands, have you ever tried to play online at Holland Casino or live cash games at Holland Casino?
@LuukBotter86
Жыл бұрын
Hey Rik! I have played both yes. I don't like Holland Casino Online since there is no rakeback. I have played both in Amsterdam and Venlo some Live PLO, which I did enjoy :) I wish you all the best learning the game! What is your first impression of plo?

@@LuukBotter86 I really like it, I need to get used to the variance of the games and the pitfall that you must use exactly 2 hole cards. I guess everyone from NLH will need to get used to that.
perhaps because i'm not familiar with this particular poker game but i thought your opponent at 7:00 had a full house busting your flush? you did not have a straight flush

he had 3 jacks and 2 aces making a full house, what is it i am not understanding? no im not familiar with unpaired board so i guess this game is different than what im familliar with@@LuukBotter86

in plo4, you can only use 2/4 of your cards and 3/5 of the community cards to make the best hand, so his aces didn't mean anything when he had top set
omg WoW😮
Hey luk 2 questions- your br is 3.5k and you are playing plo100 ? I am stuck at micro stake without any progress no losing no winning will it help if i move little up right now i am playing $2 i want to move up to 10, will it help? Btw I watch every of your video much love!
@LuukBotter86
Жыл бұрын
Hey Aman! 1. My bankroll is not 3,5k (I have more money available for playing online poker). This is just whats available on GGPoker at the moment of recording. 2. I would try to move up as fast as possible from the absolute lowest stakes yes. Reason is that the rake is very high in those games and that the monetary reward is very low. What I mean is if you are purely in it for learning the rules and trying out the game its fine imo. But if you become more serious about the game I would play for a bit more money and try to get some outside money into the game. Playing for a bit more money than only $2 or $10 gives you a huge boost in motivation and you will right a way "try harder" to win. I would think about your vision and create a plan accordingly. What is it you want to accomplish? Who is it you want to become? Zoom out a bit first and than make the right decisions based on your bigger goals. Thanks for the kind words and the great support! Lets crush it!

The options in the Netherlands are unfortunately not great. There are only 2 Ipoker skins available (no rakeback and higher rake) and Unibet (same story) outside of this. So I gotta go with whats available at the moment. I wish the options would be better or the rake on GG lower.
I wish I knew where to play online worth trusting here in Florida

betting $21 on the turn, into $100? if he has a set, is it even a mistake to call that?

If he has a set calling is oke for him yes on the turn.
@trollking6206

@LuukBotter86 what I mean, is do you really think betting $21 in that spot is right, bc he's not even making an equity mistake. If you bet $40 or something, at least then he is not getting the proper odds to call
@StanleyBetsPot
Жыл бұрын
You want to go geometric sizing when small to force him to pay off as wide as possible or full pot to deny equity to sets / apply max pressure with a bare Ace.
@LuukBotter86
Жыл бұрын
@@StanleyBetsPot Great point. Perhaps him having a set is actually more likely than him having any other hand, making a larger bet perhaps the preferred option! I was so confused :)
Please put a note with the password above the monitor next time.
Nice video, there’s always something to learn watching your videos but showing the pokercraft graph is pretty misleading imo. The $100 that you “won” are in reality way less. I’d suggest showing the real numbers in the future.

Why botter if you're not luuky?
I think at cash tables it should be always a respectful rule to run it twice , I hate those selfish arrogant players that want to run it once.

@@LuukBotter86 it's just that when I usually ahead I always run twice to give other players a chance, I think it's fair for everyone, yes we all want to make money but no need to crush in any way we can others.😃😸

i dont like online poker personally, i always have a bad feeling that the systems there are rigged.

I have the same thing but in poker systems just scrape money off the top so there is no motive for a different player to win instead of you
