Are the odds high to get a room provided by Studierendenwerk Mannheim? I applied 5 months before the move-in date but I know you can start applying 6 months early.

Hello! I'm not sure on this as I was an exchange student and could only apply for the housing 2 months before the start of the semester. I applied as soon as the portal opened and was able to secure housing with them! However, a friend I knew who applied a few days later wasn't able to. Wishing you all the best for your stay in Mannheim! Be sure to enjoy and make plenty of amazing memories~ 😊

Not anymore! But yes, I was living at Hafenstraße, one of the student housings provided by Studierendenwerk Mannheim
