The fact that she works extra hard to let her employees go home early says a lot about her. Your mom is one of a kind, so hardworking doing chores non-stop throughout the day and cooking. She really deserves everything and much more. I'm very happy she got her dream job. And everything seemed delicious! i'd tell her mom to not forget to rest or employ more people for other simpler tasks. Burnout is serious especially as a chef. And being the main protagonist of 3 restaurants is a massive reponsability on her shoulders. Something simple might paying someone family or employee to do the groceries. Because chef alone is hardcore during shifts, having to spend extra hours EVERY day to buy tons of food, loading them in your car and putting in the frige is a lot .

this lady is the definition of a BOSS. like what the hell. this makes me feel all the excuses myself and others make are nothing. she runs two businesses and catering. shops for the ingredients herself and still serves the food. cooks meals for the family in the restaurant and spends time with her loved ones. and keeps her restaurants clean. truly a boss.

The scene where your family all went to the fruit bar and sat together with some watermelon melted my heart. Your parents work so hard and yet, even though they must be absolutely exhausted, they still dedicate time to being together as a family, enjoying some fruit. That's true love right there.

The multi-tasking skills is on ANOTHER level. She is so hardworking

@@rb2043 except it's not amazing to overwork yourself to that point, it either means she can't let go of some control and delegate, or she doesn't have staff that she can trust to support her in the ways she needs in order to not be doing so many roles. I'm not trying to be disrespectful as she is clearly extremely hard working & dedicated, but we need to stop normalising and praising overworking.

Your mother might be the hardest working person I’ve ever seen! All her food looks so delicious and fresh. The desserts! The gelato! Heavenly. And she does the dishes too, what a humble beautiful person. This was so interesting to watch.

I've worked in, and designed restaurants for a living. Even with the high tempo at which your mom works, she doesn't cut corners and her food looks great. She is a real working chef. It would be great to see another day of hers-she is exciting to watch.

I don't think people realise how much work it takes to run your own restaurant or bakery business, especially if you are preparing the food and running the business yourself. Honestly it looks like back breaking incredibly exhausting work. Big thumbs up to whomever can do it.

The cooks would be the other people in the kitchen working under her. the creator of this channel stated several times in this video and in others that she owns these restaurants and that the actual cooks frequently call her for help. Dozens to hundreds of people are commenting that they are chefs, cooks, work in restaurants, and praising the mother for her hard work and skill as a chef, and yet you still make this comment to degrade her craft. So weird.

Your mother is freaking amazing! One woman show! And the food the food looks amazing! I love your videos. You show everything…. How life in Italy feels every day in a normal day. The food, the people, the grocery store, the streets every aspect. It says if we are truly walking down the streets and shopping with you and tasting the food. I can’t get enough.

why am I getting emotional?? My mom is Vietnamese and we live in Germany. When I was a little kid, my mom always had to work 2-3 different jobs until night. My dad mostly wasn't there for us, so my mom had to raise me by herself. She worked so hard, she never had the chance to take time for herself. Watching this, made me feel so grateful and proud of all the strong, hard working and independent women out there! YOUR MOM IS A BADASS. PERIODT. Thank you so much for sharing

Can I say: your mum is such a beautiful and hardworking woman. My mum doesn't have a restaurant yet but she does catering. I'm so proud of our hardworking mamas. Just watching her lift and carry such heavy things remind me of my mum as well.

I wondered this too! But I think her mom does it by hand to make sure it’s always fresh and to get the deals (hence the daily changing menu). A lot more work for sure! But definitely creates better food

@@internethugs , one important thing that slips from you is the fact that her clients are simple workers who will not pay extra so the owner has to save money by doing the shopping at discount offers and saving on delivery.

Sometimes it's more efficient to go a store where everything you need is there than deal with different suppliers who don't always have everything you need in one place. Plus she might prefer doing the shopping herself. I've done catering too, it was just too inefficient dealing with different suppliers.

@@internethugs When you order food to be delivered from a supermarket in Europe about 90% of the time something that you have ordered is not available and usually replaced with something that you don't want. Which is why it is best just to get the food yourself in person.

Your mum is the real MVP, let her know that. Mad respect. I wish I could go to Italy right now so I could eat all of the food that your mum cooks.

I don't know how your mom does it! I was exhausted just watching her. She is built different than most. I am a 30 year New York City High volume Restaurant Manager Veteran. Your Mom is A Bad Ass. She is the Manager and the Chef of 2 restaurants. Plus decorates and facilitates and cooks for events. She works so fast and clean. I feel bad for her I wish she had a young strong guy carry some of the heavy purchases for her and pack and unpack the car. She is an absolutely amazingly hard worker in a very stressful business. She even does dishes. She gets big props form NYC. Can't she get the produce etc delivered? I can't believe she does all the shopping too. SHE IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. I WORK HARD AND AM FAST . BUT SHE IS SUPERWOMAN.

That's amazing. It's hard to cope with just one restaurant and they run two.I thought teaching/operating a high school restaurant program was hard, but not now!! My grandparents (and my mom's aunts and uncles on my mother's side) moved to both Canada and Australia from Treviso after WW1, so I love videos about Italy (especially northern), the lifestyle, and the cooking.
