Ma'am u r exactly the way I am . During my first days of high school I too wanted to become a journalist. Then I discovered that my family won't support me in becoming a journalist . Then I wanted to become a psychologist because I was always curious to know about human psychology.Then after passing out my 10th I took Pcmb group and for my father's happiness I said I'll become a doctor but I just found out that physiology was my real dream . It was inside me right from the age of 10 . I grew an interest on physiotherapy because one of my cousins is mentally disabled and we had to pursue physiotherapy to enable her to walk . I went to the clinic one day to see how it goes on and that's where the interest in physiotherapy grew inside me without my knowledge . That's a kinda crazy but I'm gonna become a physiotherapist one day . I'm a student of 2020.

Physiotherapy some realities 1)Major portion of graduates passed out dont have job or working with very less salery many physiotherapist left the field for lively hood 2)5060 physiotherapy graduates passed out in south India itself. 200 beded hospital only need 2 physiotherapist . Students passed out previas years remains hear as jobless 3)Job opertunities abroad also reducing substatialy each year, physiotherapist who migrated to US UK Caneda Australia works in supermarket Hotels petrol pumb etc.Many gulf countries now appoints employes who are natives of that country 4)Many hospitals now converting their physiotherapy department to Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR)HOD will be physiatrist (MBBS DPMR )role of a physiotherapist in this department is just a helper 5)"Physiotherapists are called as doctors "" these are only just canvasing words of agents during admision. In practical sence none of the hospitals, gov bodies allove this 6)there are somany unautherised practices (quakery)still remains in this field This also reduces job opertunities current enforcement of law is not satisfactory to stop this practice 7)Now a days new threat also there... Bvok physiotherapy that is common in normal arts collage only 3 years, course. Hospitals appoint these people with less salary

There is many conditions in orthopaedic and Neurological that can treated by physiotherpy so you can do your masters in ortho. Or in neuro. You directly seen patients on o.p.d and in i.p.d

the payscales is not what she mentioned... Hospitals pay less to physios even in clinics they are paid less only if you do home visits you can make good money or you have a good chain of patients and have private practice... government jobs are few only 2-3 seats every year region wise... it is a profession of connections.. having wrked in hospitals for years can yeild you good paycheck that is also with experience...!! met many senior physios also who dont make that much money with only hospitals and clinics alone..! Struggle is real in this field mostly because of amont of exploitment in this field..But nuthing negative for field only this point was not upto the mark.. rest all is true.
