TUM environmental engineering here. Such an honest video haha. Why Mensa closes at 2 pm is beyond my understanding. It's like TUM'S entire system is designed to demotivate students to study. There is no campus life here. If someone wants to come to campus to study on weekends or in the evenings, god bless them, because it is a ghost town here

feel you 100% brother haha. such a demotivating campus... but you can go to the MI building, it opens everyday until 0.00AM. At least there's a wending machine with sandwiches hahaha

@@PeterSlazy No I'm not calling you out because you called me Lazy. I'm calling you out because of your wordings which somehow implied that international students have no right to talk about improvements in the German education system. Free education does not mean we shut up and accept the flaws because well it was paid by the "taxpayers". The way you said it made your comments xenophobic so instead of calling us lazy , mayne you need some introspection. I bet you wouldn't say a local student to go to other countries when they complain about the system. That is the distinction.

@@dr_greg_mouse4125 unfortunately, this seems to be the standard with most german unis, i went to a much smaller one than TUM and disappointed to hear that TUM is also quite dispapointing since it really is a well known institution I guess :/

the lecture is actually in German. almost every bachelor courses are in German. If you barely understand German, it may be very hard for you to catch up, but it is possible. In the masters degree however, almost every thing is in English :)

Yes masters are in English, bachelors mostly in German, but you can probably ask the professor if they want to hold the lecture in English. But for me it was not a problem, since I am fluent with both

I have finished by bachelors haha, but I only took the mandatory courses, and I recommend you to do so as well. These courses will cause you enough headache haha. The courses are: algebra, calculus 1-3, experimental physics 1-4, theoretical physics 1-3, chemistry, coding. and in semester you can choose your focus, that is particle and astrophysics, condensed matter, bio physics or applied physics. There are probably more than 4, but the majority of the students will choose these 4
