Great video and knowledge, would like to ask. 1. To change the blue seal on the flue elbow is that just 4 screws around then slide out or there something else. 2. To change the white seal between fan and sump, do u need take burner out Thank You

Pretty much but there are a few things to be careful of, The burner can come out with the sump but I’d just take it out anyway

I keep stuff like the vaillant pcbs, and blue seals for that Baxi, loads of small bits, otherwise I go to merchants and collect bits or come back the next morning, I’ve got a transit connect haha so not massive

Wow, who was paying the bill on that one? Hope the customer had 3 star cover with BG. All those parts and issues could easily be eradicated by proper servicing on a yearly basis instead of a 20min safety & performance check.

Yeah regular servicing would have helped but the main thing is it’s working

there are replacement valves for expansion vessels? i usually change the whole thing once the valve is bad haha

Yeah mate, but a Schrader valve kit like the 1 in the video and comes with the tool Drain down, pump up, remove Schrader and then put the new 1 then re charge Job done
