Love how Joe didn't help you right away in the kayak and let you try first. As a person just recently using a wheelchair I'm realizing how important it is to try and struggle with things sometimes.

I know that I am wrong and that I am going to hate myself later on for this, but it was kinda funny watching you trying to get out of that kayak. Sorry to laugh Brittney. I can’t imagine how you were ever going to get out of it by yourself (thank heavens for Joe) - the kayak is super-tippy, and your wheelchair, even with brakes on, was on lumpy ground. Kudos on a great attempt! You never give up. It is a wonderful video - we love these “days in your life” type!!

Hi Brit & Jo, as a physically disabled person myself I can totally relate to watching Brit being determined to do things independently but sometimes it just doesn't work out. I've always appreciated people being willing to help but prefer being left alone to try it on my own first. Strangers I sometimes feel they're really pushing to help, just assuming I'm not able on my own because its physically more difficult for me. I feel as though I'm being babied and I've never liked that. Jo its lovely to see that as the able bodied partner you don't coddle Brit but are willing to provide any help when needed.

Well done in the canoe (or was it a Kayak?). Well done for trying to get out of it. I wonder if you would have been successful if you had lifted yourself onto the side of the canoe by putting both hands on the canoe. That would have maintained the balance. Then grab the chair. Another suggestion. On the quad, maybe hold on to Joe. Probably would be more stable for you. And certainly would be more romantic! Love the video. Thanks for taking me along. I'm just upset that I didn't get any cheesecake.

Hey 👋 I watch you often and I like your optimistic attitude. I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis I saw a segment where you used your wheelchair, got into your vehicle as a driver You dismantled your wheelchair after you buckled in your driver position. I am looking for something light so I can do that. I can drive, but learning to rewalk I think this was the show with yourself and your husband You are quite an inspiration! Thank you.

Yeah, I’d have trouble watching you trying to get out of the kayak. I’d want to rush over and help you, but I know that would be wrong and it would be taking your confidence away. I have trouble remembering to not help my wife and she gets really pissed off when I try to help her. I should know better that she will find a way to do it herself. If she truly needs help, she might ask me.

Ok my friend it’s time to start hitting the weights build those arms back up, and your cardio to. I understand how difficult it had to be getting out of the kayak. Good for you facing your fears about being on the quad, just look at 5be cool ride you had. I’d love to be able to do that again, just to bumpy for me after 5 spinal surgeries after my SCI. You always impress me with your willingness to overcome. I took a huge step this week and drove to Toronto by myself this week, I still don’t like the city lol.
