The increase of inclusivity of women in video games I believe correlates to the continuing decline in games themselves. They're just less compelling, more sedentary, and have no soul.

You need to really take a hard look at your life and mental state if you sincerely believe that having more representation of anyone not white or male means there's a "decline". You're insane and need to get out more.

I am sure developers of mobile games would like to have me as a customer. I would never play mobile games even if they catered them exclusively to me and i would not want them to. This is the difference between a normal male and a feminist. If I chose to play mobile games, I would play them as they are and not expect them to change for me.

This is probably how every civilization falls in history. Someone should leave a warning for the future.

Everything said in this video is true. How does this video not have more views? How does this channel not have more subs for that matter ?

Found him randomly (algorithm knows my tastes I guess lol) but yeah he even said he won’t/can’t monetize his channel because it’d be wiped. I’m glad & sad he doesn’t have more subs & views it’s pathetic how docile and weak we’ve become as humans that we allow the small powerful ppl to have free reign in their satanic agenda.

he wont be in elder scrolls 6 sadly, the last time i loved a game soundtrack was with the final fantasy 7 remake in 2020.

I am old enough to remember games catering to both men and women in the 80s. It's just that games for men tended to sell better in the long run. And that's fine.

The idea that it's somehow offensive, taboo, or sexist to say: "men/women tend to have more of an interest in X than the opposite sex" or "men/women tend to be better at X than the opposite sex" is extremely fucking stupid. As you say, it's fine; a perfectly normal occurrence. Then again, so many these days seem to have trouble even deciding what a man/woman is/isn't that I'm not surprised they find such innocuous, self-evident statements abhorrent.

To sell better is an understatement, gaming demographic has always been 90%+ male, if excluding mobile games even today it’s 85%+ at least and if we exclude sims and similar games it’s 95%+ male.

This channel is criminally under-subbed.

With video game revenue in the UK for example, revenue has grown by an average of around 6% every years since 2011 - after your referenced 90s to mid-noughties time period. How does this tally with your 'get woke, go broke' analysis of dropping profits and shareholder rewards? Video games continue to outsell both music and video combined, so surely the new found campaign of marketing to these groups (as you observed) is technically a better move for a video game business?

Do you believe this increased revenue is due to marketing to these intersectional groups? The industry may be growing but companies that insist on chasing the social justice demographic dollar have reported significant losses after going "woke" including those behind Battlefield V, Dishonored, Mass Effect etc.

@@PtolemySL I suppose the question I would ask would be similar - if we can assume that the lost sales of specific titles are due to pandering to social trends (and not specific issues with those games, ie over indulgence in distasteful microtransactions), surely we can also draw the link that overall the industry is growing either because or in spite of these efforts to appease those groups? Unless the point is a subjective one, where it *feels* worse to play a game with sociopolitical overtones, and we long for what 'could have been' if it hadn't been for those pesky women? As a consumer, I could care less how well the game sells, I'm only interested in a product that meets my needs, right?

They're not doing it for profit. They don't care about profit. They are so hateful that demoralizing white men is worth it even if a company goes bankrupt. There is no success story of some company pandering to women, LGBT, minorities, or any such pseudo-victim group and making a lot of profit from it. If that were truly the case then companies would have followed suit naturally. The progressives would constantly cite such a game as an example of how the gaming industry ought to be. In reality, they're just using political agitation, infiltration, and other tactics to force compliance. In 2011 women gamers were 42%. The figured peaked at 47% in 2014 and in 2020 is now 41%. The idea that women were some untapped demographic or that women are responsible for the revenue increases is laughable. Women have had plenty of games that appealed to them for a long time now. It's completely unethical to demonize white men, regardless of whether it increases profits or not.

tahsina .c With the near total lack of any visible organised opposition to radical feminism from women within gaming space and a notable absence of solidarity with male gamers during the last decade of intellectual deconstructionism coming from the Marxist journalist class it’s impossible for me to not consider women somewhat broadly responsible for the subversion of the gaming subculture as a whole. Historically women in gaming have acted as a Trojan horse for the same hostile forces of cultural critique that destroyed countless other male spaces including the comic book industry and the Star Wars fandom.
