Not a fan of the misleading, clickbait titles which make the recipes seem like they'd be easier to make.

Being raised in a large family (baby boomer here). My mom was always what was called back in the day "stretching a meal" due to having a husband and 7 kids and prepared dishes like this.

Tried it today and used some leftover homemade pasta sauce in lieu of the tomatoes. It was delicious. Very hearty and filling. Eat it with a side salad!

I was thinking of doing same!

I've been making this since college. I call it slop, but it's really good, if I say it myself. I make two varieties: white slop (made with creamy mushrooms) and red slop (made with whole tomatoes). Both are actually better on the second day (much like chili and lasagne), after the juices and flavors have had more chance to blend in.

I made this last night. I sliced the potatoes thin and tossed with EVOO onion, garlic and spices and put in 9x13 pan a 425 F. I tossed them about 10 minutes after. Meanwhile I cooked the grass fed ground beef in a skillet with onions, garlic and spices..then I took the cooked meat and spread on top of potatoes...added 8 oz of organic tomato sauce, chopped with an Italian cheese blend, slice organic tomatoes and some herbs and baked until cheese was melted and browned in some spots. It was really good. Just an alternate way to make this is :) It reminded me of loaded nachos but grain free :)

@@ltshadosniper oven was at 425 F and I roasted the potatoes fist around 30 minutes until tender. Then after I added the cooked meat, sauce, cheese maybe another 15. Enough to melt the cheese and brown it a little bit.

Love the music so relaxing I listen to this type of music all the time
