A CRAPPIE Fishing SECRET The "Pro's" WON’T TELL YOU | Crappie Fishing 2023‼️

Ойын-сауық

In this video, I give you a crappie fishing tip the "pro's" won't even tell you! This crappie fishing tip will indeed help you catch more summer crappie. Everyone wants to know how to catch crappie in hot weather, the biggest tip for summer crappie fishing is actually quite simple! Crappie DO NOT go into as deep of water as most people think. The surface temperature is in the low 90's right now, most people would assume crappie go 25+ feet deep! That is simply NOT TRUE. I stay in the 15'-18' of water in this video, and almost pulled a limit of crappie out of the water. I hope you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching! God Bless!

    Man I have told countless people when they ask me how I catch limits in middle of summer , middle of the day no wind or wind all the factors that everybody says crappie are deep and hard to catch . And I tell them I’m fishing 20ft less a lot of time in summer and they can’t believe it . And most want believe lol . So I smile and wave and keep catching .

    I really enjoy catching Crappie and I really like this video! I'm 70 years old and have fished all my life and you are teaching me things I never knew! I am a little surprised you use such large hooks but you sure are catching those Crappie on them! Are the minnows alive or are they dead, I was trying to see how you hook them up! they look like big minnows too, I'm from southern Michigan and we generally use fairly small minnows! I hook mine through the lips, so I don't cast them off! I notice you aren't losing your minnows, maybe because of how you are hooking them on! I am looking forward to watching your videos young man, tyvm very informative and just great videos all around!

    Fishing Lake Conroe, I've found the crappie on structures using my lowrance hds sitting above 20' water temps hovering around 88-90 lately and Im using the slip rig setup with both minnows and monkeymilks and still on the struggle bus catching. Wishing I could figure out what I'm doing wrong 😢

    We'll take this long version and make it short. You can catch a lot of fish once you find where they are. Fishing like you are if it's hot there looking for a cool spot which is generally deeper water with good structure.

  • @903fishing

    @903fishing

    9 ай бұрын

    I thread my minnows on. If I don’t, and the bluegill are on the piles, then they will just take the minnow off easy if the minnow is hooked through the back or tail. In the mouth, out the gill, and back through the top of the back. Doesn’t kill the minnow and it can move. Thanks for watching! God bless!

    I'm new to your channel and have never seen your style of fishing with bobber and leader line fishing. I noticed when you wanted to go deeper you never adjusted your bobber. Do you have so much weight on that the whole rig sinks to the depth you want? Please explain to an old novice. Thank you. I enjoyed your show.
