I loved Steve Taylor's quirky artistic album covers and music videos. In particular, Melt Down at Madam Tussauds. I liked all the colors and the aesthetics. I am not sure what the message or story was about the meltdown.. just being that something happened at the wax museum where there was a technical problem that caused the temperature to go high and the melting of all the wax figures. I think it reminds me of the horror film at a wax museum where the wax figures melt. Do any of you have other ideas about what message or story was telling besides that?

Christian music was really good. A great sign of how good music is is how well it aged, and you go back and listen to groups like Petra, Newsboys, they were up there with any secular band.

Steve, Yer awesome, I was a Christian but had to leave the sheeple, they shunned me because I was mad at God, I have MS and arthritis and some rare form of Myofascial Pain Syndrome. Very few Christians are involved in Love In Action. "The love of most will grow cold." Yup, there you go, thanx god!!

The Psalms too, are mad at God. Not all of them, but many. Funny that we are given these Psalms to use in private and corporate worship, but if we express these thoughts personally, then we are alienated. Expression of Scripture-based thoughts, should not alienate believers from one another. Unfortunately in your case, it seems it has. Sorry to hear this.

So sorry to hear about your...position. Actually, I can understand you being mad at your situation. Ironically, the psalmist were not mad at God; the resolution was always; “but God will see me in my challenge and I will rejoice in his salvation...”. I’ve never had s challenge like what you live with, but I’ve had plenty of reasons to be ‘mad at God’; that said, your physical body is temporary. I hope your anger is as well...I think it’s awesome how you use terms like ‘sheeple’. I wonder if I am supposed to be offended by that... I’ve known several people with issues such that you have, that have decided that the creator of all things, is aware of their challenge. And have chosen to move forward, seeing that this is temporary. That’s what the sheeple book says...

April: Yeah, I left the Church too, and Steve's music really had an impact on me when I was young. He taught me who Jesus really was, but the people at my church were so hypocritical and downright ignorant -- that I just got turned off so bad. They said all people in India are going to hell: same with Chinese, same with Muslims, etc. What a stupid world view. I had friends that were both Indian and Muslim. So, I'd rather not go to heaven and spend it, worshiping a God that is prejudice and based his selection on geographic location. Right !?!?!? So, that's when I realized most of this "Religion" stuff is just man-made bullshit. So, yes, I understand how you feel, April.

I've met Steve Taylor before and saw him live at knots berry farm Years ago, it was awesome. I've seen him at Disneyland with his wife and a group of 20something's we t up to him and we're fans of his music, I don't know why I was surprised but he was very nice and respectful as I had seen him before and thought wow, even though he was there just on regular day not for business he still remains a super cool guy and his wife was awesome to. I've seen some of her art and I like it. I was always into real hip Hop not the stuff of today and into like system of the down, stuff like that. But I really like his music even though I was and still am into real hip Hop not the stuff of today and other music like system of the down and tiger army etc. Another thing is I used to like Coldplay too but after their second album I think I was like OK I'm done with this band, lol it's funny he says that. Can't wait for his next album.

I got to see Steve twice in concert - Jubilation '84 at Knott's Berry Farm and opening for Petra in '85 for the "Beat the System" tour. I got to meet him briefly at the album release party for "I Predict 1990". I loved his satire and writing through his stuff with the Newsboys. I hate that he wasn't able to put out my boys L.A. Symphony because of Squint going out of business...

Huge Steve Taylor fan here. Huge Donald Trump fan also. Both were / are men of Conscience surrounded by men of Profit above Principle (aka "The Swamp"). Both use their talent to expose / 'drain the swamp' & seek Truth & Justice. If Taylor pans Trump it's likely because that "I'm artsy & a college Professor, so I must tilt to the LEFT" is too big an influence. That's OK to me - I just see the similarities, Steve only sees the differences. Biden and his Cultural Marxism + Uniparty corruption collusion are RUINING this country. They are haters of God, LAWFUL order, Biblical principles & our own organic History. I sure do wish Steve Taylor would take that into consideration.

Steve Taylor the mini ep "clone" record is a masterpiece. The Meltdown album is one of the greatest records of all time, by anybody. The Fritz album is a solid record. "I Predict" is good. Squint is good. The "Liver" live album is excellent. It had a "METAL" kind of sound and production. Personally I don't care for the "Perfect foil" stuff. Chargall Chivall had its moments. I would like to see Steve Taylor do a heavier rock oriented album, with a message from the Meltdown era. Steve Taylor has written some of the greatest profound lyrics in the history of music. Comparable to anyone in history! I might add the Comedian song from perfect foil sessions is the best song on the record. I still don't like the band or the sound.

A former fan of Steve Taylor, until I watched this interview. I would like to know, was Steve that outspoken about former president Obama and did he ever offer the same criticism publicly to profane him as he did President Trump. Obama was blatant about his criticism of Christians and the Word of God and the list of outrageous comments and actions from his position of leadership was unparalleled. So Steve, are Christians who voted for Trump somehow stupid or ignorant. I thought we're supposed demonstrate the mind of Christ to everyone including those in authority God has placed over us and of those whose opinions differ from our own. Are you representing the collective liberal think tank promoting your moral superiority. If God raised him up, who is to blame for his presidency. You never rejected the hosts comments about the notion that you are not judgemental or intolerant, but yet you boldly criticised Trump. It's quite apparent based on your comments that you are intolerant and judgemental especially in respect to the comments you made relating to the distinction as to who you rather hang out with, Atheist vs. Christians that voted for Donald Trump. Do you ever pray for Trump. Could he not be another type of King Cyrus outlined in Isaiah 45. You've just joined the ranks of so many leftist who were infuriated when President Trump took office who proclaimed that they would leave the Country if he was elected. Well I don't see them exiting this great Country. They've done nothing but engage in a prolonged and foundationless Witch-hunt. Question: Are you in a Witch-hunt as well? Your comments about Trump and Christians were uncalled for!
