A completely different campervan conversion : Affinity van

Affinity was started by Jacek Jaskot who was formerly in charge at Globe Traveller. He has designed this vehicle which is completely different. It has only two prices - one for the Fiat Ducato and another for the Peugeot Boxer engines - everything else is included. There is a motorhome type layout with the kitchen behind the forward facing bench which also converts into a bunk for two. At the rear there is an electrically elevating side bed.
I am going to name this the best series build campervan that I know - and I think that I have probably seen just about all the camper vans available on the European market.
First, I need to explain what I mean by series. I have borrowed this word from languages such as French and German, where it is mass produced. I don't think campervans are mass produced because their quantity is so small so series seems a suitable word as it does not indicate this in English. Obviously a campervan made exclusively to order will always be better and suit the requirements of the buyer more than one bought 'off the shelf'.
The reasons I think it is the best series produced campervan are because of :
1. the insulation and in particular the double floor,
2. the rear elevating bed which would allow a bicycle to be placed in the garage - the only side bed campervan that I know of that can do this.
3. the ingenious bunk beds at the front
4. overall look and in particular light thanks to the front sloping roof with large panoramic window and second skylight
5. complete : solar included in the price.
6. all inclusive price without costly factory options. : on Fiat Ducato EUR75k, on Peugeot Boxer EUR70k.

That bunk beds are a really good idea. The shower room is so spacious. And the storages are plenty. I like this van. 👏👏
Absolutely love the creativity of the switchblade bench/bed thing. This van overall is nicer (and cheaper) than 90% of the offerings here in the states.

Most ingenious with the bunk bed design and the concept of narrow cupboards opens the floor plan, very clean.
Looks nice... It has almost everything... Kitchen, lots of storage, bathroom, huge garage... even three beds.
This feels like my room. I only need the nice kitchenette and that fabulous shower! 😺

Looks like one of the clever and ingenious DIY conversione seen on YT but made by professionals - and you can see it!
A motorhome ambiance, high quality of finish and a brilliant double bunk solution :-) So refreshing to see an innovative design such as this, thank you Alan. It makes the EHG solution for a third berth for example in the Carado V132 look half-hearted in comparison. Also the solution in the HYMER Exsis-T 374 is particularly disappointing, given the price point... Please may I request some videos about short wheel base three and four berths when you visit Caravan Salon? I am trying to square the circle trying to find a 6 metre or 6.36 metre campervan/Carado V 337 style coach built van with German style longitudinal beds and also a viable third berth for a large child.
Really brilliant. I love the idea of a roof bed like in the Hymer Vision Venture, and then a bed above the passenger seats so you have have the living and kitchen out the back. But i haven't seen anyone else do this, until now. This is great. (id still put a roof bed in and have the back doors where the couch and kitchen is.
I like seeing the vans with alternative designs.
I make campervans for a living as you will see through my channel and it's hard to be impressed sometimes when you see the these videos but I have to say this is very impressive. I really like this one, thanks Alan👍

The kitchen area and front bed system remind me very much of the Nugget - I think it was westfalia , but its a while ago now. It had a similar lower bed that pulled out and tucked under the kitchen. Quite clever , but does kill your kitchen space....But as with mot things in a panel van conversion, you cant have it all. Compromise is the name of the game. This one is definitely different with some innovative features.

OK... I was doing fine just watching and thinking that yeah, the layout is indeed very different for a campervan. But then... MY JAW DROPPED WHEN I SAW THE... BUNK BEDS!!!! Holy Cow! I am seeing it but I still can't believe it! How the heck? WOW! Mind blown! Game changer!!! 😲🚐🛌🤯
Not only is that clever, it's actually very well thought out. It makes such a change. Add an underslung LPG tank, (I don't like the idea of gas bottles in the living area, although it does keep them warm on a winters day) it would make it perfect.

Certainly different but I’m not convinced on any level, let alone price (compared to the Malibu you viewed at €48k). Climbing over one another to get out to the washroom, nowhere to store wash things for up to four people. The bed gets used as a dumping ground for the kitchen and the duvet gets caught in the fridge door. The sideboard would not hold nearly enough storage in my opinion. Interesting? Yes but not competitive. My vote is with the Adria but presumably this works for some people who want large shower rooms! Thanks for showing.

Great surprises there! Now, just allow the bed in back to turn into a couch electronically, making the last half of the bed become slightly less than vertical.

I like the floor plan. The 2 front skylights in the same place is goofy and the window in your bed right where your head is not very private. The quality is better and price is half of what we pay for cheap crap in the states. You must go to a pro builder to get anything nice.

I always like to see different approaches and this seems very good. But where do you put the bedding for the front beds during the day?

I think horizontal murphy bunk beds would be a great way to keep floor space open when not in use.
This is clever, maybe too clever. The locker above the wardrobe looks like it would obstruct the opening of the wetroom 06:15 if left open and your partner exited the shower. Or does the door open underneath it when fully open?
