I am utterly amazed how every game just crumbles and falls apart as soon as will touches it 😂

You better believe if I'm fighting aliens and literal malfunctioning company equipment during my shift I'm DEFINITELY making sure they pay me for that shit, plus everyone knows if you're off the clock and get hurt it's a mess getting workman's comp.

I was legit just starting to get back into alien isolation after I watched a video explaining the mechanics of the xenomorph. Now Will plays alien isolation, oh happy days!!!

Fun fact if you’re going for 100% on this game you have to beat it on the hardest difficulty without dying ones, and it is entirely based on the will of god if you even make it past the xeno.

4:01 You know, just once I want an Alien story to play up the 'unknown monster killing people' angle and have it be surprise Predators instead, with Xenomorphs showing up later to explain the red herring evidence pointing to them. (The Predators culled most of the Xenos not long before the protagonists showed up.) Also, for once have Wayland-Yunani (well, the local management) be the good guys, just to screw with expectations. (A manager with a sense of self preservation before profit for the company would be absolutely great for this.)

Williaso, I have played this game a half dozen times and never, NEVER, had issues with the cutscenes, nor heard of anyone who has. How do you break every game you touch?

Actually, you have! Since the cutscenes are pre-rendered that means everyone's copy has the same visual issues. I even checked some playthroughs on KZread to be sure and yup, they've got the same thing.

Williaso narration sounds like the Cinema Sins guy. Idk if I'm the first one that has said that but yeah.

4:20 Think about the basically unnecessary build up this way, Jaws was so popular because of the buildup and tension despite everyone knowing what a fucking shark looks like. This is basically the first modernish game adaptation of ALIEN specifically. There are a million Aliens and AVP games but virtually none that adapted the original’s visuals and themes in this way. I personally like the buildup as it’s hyping up new people and long time fans, letting you slowly sink into the setting rather than dropping you crotch deep into the alien stuff. That’s my biggest critique of Dead Space, you see the monsters the first 5 minutes of the game basically. At the end of the day it just depends on your personal taste and I think horror games and movies need a bit of starting tension to immerse you as throwing you directly into the horrors will not be as impactful.

8:10 i think this is a classic example of how games dont work after 3 or 4 driver updates.... these days... . like... how the fuck can i not run Call Of Duty 1 (thank GOD steam FINALLY patched it.... and i can play it again.... but it takes a SOLID 2 mins to load.... when it only took 10 seconds on my ~20 year old PC) . idk... i dont get it i thought the whole point of PC was compatibility. that i could play my old games with out having to find / setup my old consoles.

Dude no, these are issues with the cutscenes that exist in every version of the game - they are PRE-RENDERED, it's a recorded video file. Everyone will see these issues.
