I'd like to make a small correction in regards to the time tear - if you miss the time tear, the next time he does time tear you can still stand under him to prevent it from spawning. The Echoes of Kerapac that repeat this in phases 2 and 3 will only spawn if you phased him after he successfully uses the time tear attack. If you cycle and you prevent the time tear, then phase it, the echoes won't spawn again as they rely on the last cycle he was on. I can vouch this from multiple, multiple failed attempts to kill him, but several successful cases in which he's cycled after a failed tear skip.

I was going to add this, although this actually only works if you are in the same phase as the time tear that you missed. For example, if you miss walking under during a time tear in p1 but then phase Kerapac, you will no longer be able to stand under him for the rest of the kill.

One note, if you mess up the tear skip, you can wait for the next tear in the same phase, do the skip correctly, and you don't have to worry about it in the future phases. It only ruins the skip if you go to the next phase after you messed up, before getting another tear.

I always tried killing as many of the echoes without letting my own die. Never thought about killing them all around the same timeframe. Didn't think I was gonna learn anything new!

When it comes to switching between the ancient spells, how do you do it? Do you have a keybind that sets the auto cast to that spell? Is there any utility in auto casting one spell on to the main hand and one on to the off-hand?

watching this guide reminded me that kerapac attacks with mage, so new mage tank armour would be really useful here

Honestly I was intimidated by kerapac, on a normal mode kill i was taking damage like a cruise ship landed on top of me and kept moving forward in full trimmed mw, this definitely opened my eyes to the fact that I just haven't been using enough defensives and makes me more open to trying hard mode

Just some information for you regarding Kerapac's melee slam. The enhanced devoted/devoted perks both work to reduce his damage to 1 if you're praying melee and standing in it. It's honestly my go to for normal mode so I can solo and skip the lightning every time, even without sufficient dps

I know this is late, but while this does work after a little bit he takes reduced damage while sitting still, so you do have to move again or you'll do basically no damage like this.

thanks for the guide, definitely helped. Im averaging 13min kills with animate dead and mani aura. Most kills the lot is 500k-1m for me so its prob not the boss for me since Im not a fan of the marathon endurance race, but still fun to know i can hop in a duo/trio anytime

I wouldn't have guessed debilitate worked on the lightning since it's ambient damage and debilitate reduces damage taken from a specific enemy, huh. VERY noted, I still get hit by that sometimes even in normal when I use the time mechanic poorly.

Finally!! a guide maker who explains defensives and not just the boss mechanics. More guide makers would do well to learn from you and make better content. The amount of trash guides on Kerapac is unreal. Sometimes I wish you could force link a good guide like this one over the garbage ones. There are a few culprits (they know who they are) *cough* Protoxx who like to spew out guides with a ton of incorrect information, and they don't even take the time to fix it or tell people about it. They just want the clicks and views. Thank Ryan, this is a guide I will be linking to new players who ask about Kerapac.

I’m just starting kerapac but I’m VERY new to mage and these new spells. Obviously you use the shadow one for the damage increase and animate undead for the tankiness, but what spell do you have selected as the “main” spell when fighting?

Incite fear or Exsanguinate are the best options

Learned the hardway about the invisible lighting

Messing with this on normal kerepac, what I had been doing was warping time at 100 or almost 100% adrenaline, using berserk, adren potion for some thresholds or just wait for the warp time to finish to get 100% adrenaline back and unleash the zuk cape and my threshes, or if zerk is on CD (which it is every other time) use warp to do two zuk ults in a row. It's plenty for normal mode, but I'm not sure I'm maximizing that effect for hard, especially since I swear 10 seconds of that berserk just vanish before I can use all my thresholds.

Wouldn't it be better to kill the clones on phase 4 earlier with devotion up so you extend it by 10 seconds before killing the 3rd clone? Also was there any mention in the video about using channelled abilities while stood under Kerapac?

cryptbloom would make it easier as you'll take much less damage, but you'll deal less damage as it is tank gear

Ironman here - so how would you deal with p4 without powerburst of vitality? Can you swap clones and shield dome them and switch back to yourself or what would be a good way to do this? Thanks

without a powerburst I'd just stay in one place, your clone won't tank for quite as long but it should work exactly the same, with you taking a little bit more damage

As someone who has 100 normal mode kills by now I really want to start doing hm, but that phase 4 part 1 really scares me so much out of it. But at this point I died so much at Zuk that dying doesn't even feel bad at this point, I hope it works without animate dead, because ports takes really a long time and magic dual wield is as expensive as it gets.(would the animate dead tradable seasingers+gconc and helwyr weapons be better then full T90 range with bak bolts, without grico?)

I've tried to follow your guide step by step but I feel like I'm missing something. I'm running bis magic but it still takes me 4 minutes to even get to phase 2. My hits are never as high as others I've seen. When I crit I'm lucky to get a 6-7k crit once in a while with fog and vuln kalg up. Any tips?

Either game broken or idk, but having ponti ring in inv stuns you so you have to wear it so u dont get stunned. They mightve fixed that with arch-glacor coming out so u have to wear it now

i just got my first HM kill today at arch-glacor :) and also learned NM kerapac solo. lol its really fun and quite easy actually. just takes practice. if youre still around we can boss together sometime.

can you kill him with ranged and grests?

I tried this with full sirenic armor ascension weapon best auras absolutely everything there is and I get melted in 5 sec on phase 4 with like already 14minutes on the timer it's just impossible I give up

I still don't understand how you do so much damage per ability. I'm using the exact same gear -- even better in some slots -- and you complete phases in a fraction of the time it takes me. You've finished the fight in the same time it takes me to barely reach phase two

Hey there, might be a bit late to the party. But when it comes to the second sunshine in p4, you can actually just timewarp - devo - basic - basic - sunshine. Sunshine will go off right before timewarp pulls you back, meaning you can instantly start dumping thresholds without using your adrenaline potion AND still benefitting from the double devo duration as well as a full duration sunshine where you started with 100% adren (basically a relentless sunshine I guess)

Good. RS3 players are coddled children. You should have to wear the ring to get the benefit, no questions asked. Why do you guys think everything should be AFK, every effect should be enabled at all times, every teleport should be free, etc?

I would love to get into PvMing. The action bar and the abilities make my mind get overwhelmed =/

I respect the time you took to make this boss easy for most people, but this is meant to be a end game boss. So using lower t gear won’t fly with the end game players maybe if the people are soloing sure.
