Was mislead by luck rings for so long, Realized few months back but sent this to some friends who could use a lot of these tips. Thanks :)

It's not really misleading, this dude fails at explaining why most Pvmers buy the luck of dwarves ring. The main reason is because you don't need the ring equipped throughout the entire fight in order to benefit from the drop rate increase. All you need to do is equip your better combat ring through 90% of the boss fight progress, then switch to the luck ring at the moment the boss is dying. Works everytime, and also don't be like those mongolian idiots that use the relic perk instead of ring, you are wasting a free power perk doing that.

I knew most of these but there were a few in there I didn’t know like the logout tip to keep your stats boosted, I’ve been trying to cheese some early archeology upgrades and this is gonna be a lifesaver!!

you know what I want to see come in next to the game, I want to see genuine hybrid builds, like a melee staff allowing you to cast magic and melee abilities, idk if that's too broken it probably is as you could see like Gconc + berserk+ like greater fury or W/e but idk feels like it could be a good route to go instead of constantly increasing the tier, or the next road will have to be making 120's the new real max, which i am also mostly fine with.

finally bit the bullet and got that job gauge. Took some fiddling to get it working. A tutorial on how exactly to set it up could help people, especially since no one wants to risk clicking links regarding third party clients they're not 100% sure of.

Great video. There is SO MUCH that I don't do, proving why I suck at bossing.

Luck ring is really good at Hermod as well Greater sunshine/deaths swiftness adds 315% damage (in a relatively small area) over its duration. These upgrades are pretty bad but they're not equivalent to their planted feet counterparts.

I'm pretty sure log tier only effects how long the hp boost lasts, while your firemaking level is what determines the actual boost amount.

Greater sunshine/swiftness are actually greater, because you don't lose the DoT effect, unlike planted feet which removes the DoT. The damage is minor but its not misleading

Especially considering if you cast sun/ds at the start of a fight the DoT doesn't even work, I think many people believe Gsun/DS is significantly better than it actually is; it's mostly a switchscape reduction.

Is it not worth to switch to a LOTD ring just before the end of the kill either? Feels like I get more drops when I forget to put it on lol

only one i didn't know about was the berserk auras not stacking properly with the ultimates, though this was a good compilation. also we need to see vids of you crushing boulders like you do bosses! climbing is great

Personal tip for mid level ironman, if you have a t60/t75 Magic Weapon (Vanquish, Gstaff, Sunspear) and you want some free DG tokens to get Slayer items or whatever doing Elite Dungeons 4 and safespotting the 1st mini-boss can get you 60k-180k tokens per hour depending on kill speeds. I'd recommend having Bladed Dive and Surge for skipping the first pack of mobs, theres some video examples of this being done but look them up, takes a bit of practice but is generally a simple process. I did this early on to get Bone necklace, Charming Imp, upgraded gem bag, etc. To make Slayer more enjoyable. Worth it imo

The critical buff from the needle strike clears when swiching weapons too?

7:06 this is a common misconception. It's the player that needs to be within range of the prism for familiars to heal, not the familiar.

For some reason i thought the overload stat renew was every 6 seconds/10 ticks. banger vid mr runescape.

So when do you use vuln spell vs vuln bomb? If you're on normal spellbook anyway does it matter? Can it splash if you're not in magic gear?

The Darkness one should really be added to the wiki on those specific boss pages, especially since there is no indication that Solaks melee hits are actually considered special attacks.

They're not special attacks, they just can't splash. If youre brand new sure but anyone whos based Solak more than a few times probably knew this already

@@modestasrimkus7279 it might be on the Darkness Wiki Page, but the Solak Strategy Guide doesn't mention it once. They could easily put it in the overview box at the top where they tell you if the boss is poison-immune/immune to follower damage etc.. It is very useful at a glance, I check the wiki pages if I haven't done a boss in a while to look up if they have any specific weakness or what have you.

@holyelixir4580 just got into Solak this year and didn't know, throughout the course of a several minute fight It isn't obvious, I don't look at every hit splat that hits me, more focused on the arena and mechanics.

Resonance/Divert was counted as one ability in recording, was not worth rerecording the whole tip just for that change

There's no way darkness / dodge chance is a waste at the bosses you mentioned, doesn't it lower accuracy thus lowering dmg taken? It's night and day for ras for me with hellhound and darkness up.

The difference at Rasial is because you're taking less damage from the minions he spawns. It does nothing for Rasial's attacks.

Also for anyone doubting Ryan suggesting green blubbers as well as blue, I got 300% araxxi the first time with green blubbers, and I had nowhere near BiS gear, the extra adrenaline more than makes up for the lesser healing.

People buy necromancy runes? I got, like, 24k essence from doing the impure ritual with a bunch of multiply glyphs and I'm _still_ working through turning them all into runes. Abyssal slayer monsters are very generous with their pure essence drops.

The main tip I need ATM is the motivation to play, Ive just been afking ever since necro came out

Still worth using tho… didbt know it didnt work at rasial but after killing him 2000sh times im 100% sure it helps a lot… i would sometimes forget to use darkness and let me tell you that the damage taken is wayyyyy more… i will continue using it at rasiel

yes/no, it's a small effect. Damage is affected, but not by much (last I heard it was ~10%). Hard to measure as the blue bomb damage range is very wide.

I was new to RS3, but the game is incredibly dead. Imagine the boss croseus literally being dead. From what i can tell its a good boss with good loot. Yet if you wanna do it you need to find a group somewhere because public lobbies are none existent. Because the game is dead. So i quit.... I hope JAGEX can breathe some life into the game. Maybe one day i can return.
