I have a power supply here that have some burnt off tracks and I'm really not sure how to solder them back on. I used a thicker piece of wire, but it looks ugly and it'll be too dangerous to take a thinner piece of wire and bend it into the shape of the track. Is there some sort of tracing thing I can do similiar to what you did with the pads or not ? Thanks.

Be Careful when replacing the battery on your Asus laptop. The battery connector on the motherboard has a metal cover that must be released before pulling up on the battery cable. The connector is weak. A Broken connectors with missing pads is a very common repair that we do especially on Asus laptops. I don't know if it's the user to Blame or the connector design. ( Thank You so Much for the Advice)

Very interesting... I tore one of those connections off my own laptop a few months ago. :( I levered it in what should have been the right way? But it came away so easily... When I finally disconnected the two halves later. I was amazed, how it had stayed in place while I tore the whole thing away! I am not generally bad at assembly etc. But that connection was so flimsy.
