Thank you!! Great product, this thing is gonna last me a LONG time! Not sure why I thought it was so much more, I was just on the website before I shot this and I think I had it mixed up with another unit.

Thank you for referring me to your KZread channel. Awesome review! I would love to see a video of you using it later on. My Scott’s spreader I have now doesn’t even have rubber tires lol. I bet it took me 2 hours to fertilize 44sqft smh. I will definitely be checking out Spykers website and KZread channel. Thanks again and wishing you much success

Glad you followed me over here sir! Much appreciated for that. The huge tires really help this thing glide over rough terrain. I’m glad I purchased this thing, I can tell you that. Using my old Scott’s I probably spent close to that amount of time fertilizing too.

$400 bucks, wtf. There are plenty of commercial spreaders on Amazon with 13inch pneumatic for around half of that. Crazy price in my opinion.

I also assure you being in this business none of those you talk about will last half as long and are built nowhere near to the standard of the spyker. The old saying is so right with this spreader and you definitely pay for what you get

This Scott’s spreader is a us-made junk, the center spinner will break when spreading lime. But the commercial one is great.

1:27 44,000 sq-ft? Scotts is fine for 4,000 sq-ft. 44,000? No. A commercial spreader. That monster you bought would be too big for my 3500 sq-ft (500 of which is a hill only a handheld spreader works). Throwing product out far is bad with driveways, sidewalks. A golf course, athletic field, wide open spaces this monster is good. For most homeowners it's over kill.

I already want to upgrade to an electric one. Spyker makes one I can mount on the front of my mower. I’m tired of hand pushing 🤣🤣 Great tool though!!

Do you have any thoughts, or have used a Yardworks 85 lb. Push Broadcast Spreader Model Number: CT0071-85? I was thinking about getting a cheap Scotts Mini but I'm tempted to check out the Yardworks. But I can't find any reviews

I’ll be honest, had no idea they made spreaders!! I know some people that use Yardworks products and they seem to like them. But I have no idea how well that Spreader works, it must be very new if there’s no reviews on it.

@@ProgressiveLawnService Thanks for the reply. I kinda thought it might be new. Menards has it in 85lbs capacity for $119 after rebate. And on their website they sell a lot of replacement parts for it. Including the gearbox.....wish I knew if it was plastic gears but they don't say. I might go take a look at the model again in person before I pass on it. I used my parents Scotts Mini and for how tiny it was it worked well, but no lid, no rubber tires, but it does save lots of space being small. Thanks, If I get the Yardworks Ill do a short video on it.

Great video, are you still using the Spyder broadcast spreader, if yes how has it held up over the years, have you had any problems? I have one more question if you would be so kind to answer. When you're walking behind your spreader, does the product get thrown back on your legs as you're moving forward, or does it evenly broadcast in front of you side to side? Thanks

It's pretty good about keeping it away from your feet but it's inevitable that granulars will always find a way into your show and that goes with any spreader I've ever used
