As Colts daughter i can attest to growing up in the mountains was the best thing ever as a kid. So many memories that i hold dear to my heart. If anyone has the ability to do the same with their kids i recommend it. I love you daddio💓

One of our favorite things about wheelin' in Colorado was finding old mining towns and equipment and snow in July.

I also like to imagine you reading up for hours in front of your fireplace on all things about old mines, to then talk so knowledgeable about them, but then a faint suspicion tries to tell me that you knew that long before from the days when you’ve been crawling around abandoned mines as a kid…

Yeah don’t mess with them, it’s a pretty big deal to the state of Colorado.

We haven’t been there in 40 years. One of the first roads we drove on when we moved to Colorado. Any road around Blue Mesa reservoir is cool

Yes, the air is thin at that altitude! What bugs me is, at about 12000 feet, i was huffing and puffing, and a 5 year old was running up ahead, his Mom would call him back, which he would run back down, and tgen immediately would run right back up again!

That looks like a really pretty area that you could do in a normal four wheel drive pickup or full size suv. We did Old Gold Camp road in Colorado Springs area and it was tight, but you just needed to pay attention. I was working and used a rental and did fine

Please stop geo tagging places in Colorado. Let people discover things on their own. I know there is no public land to wheel on the east coast, and that's gonna happen here. Y'all come here, Hot spot trails and go back to where you live. The trails here are turning into parking lots of JKs with people driving off the roads left and right. With great subscribers comes great responsibility.
