i feel u with your professor retiring. had a professor (she was in her 40's) initially just take a semester off (ended up being a year) due to pregnancy complications. after coming back and teaching for a year, she had to fully resign to become a full-time mom. even my professors who had her as their student was sad upon the announcement cuz she was one of their best students and our best professors.

GIRL a hair brush BRISTLE broke my screen when I got my laptop - I closed it on it and like an inch-wide black line of death appeared... so you might have closed it on something!! These apple screens are so weak 😑🤧glad you got it fixed but truly, one of my fave vlogs from you 🫶 i just finished grad school last year, so I love re-living the school vibes!

The computer thing made me so maddd im sorry for you hahaha

my display once cracked too without any happening to it before, i went to the apple store and they told me it’s kind of a common problem with the macbook air and replaced the display for free. (they did a big check up before just to make sure it really wasn’t my fault)
