To answer your question, I collected the line as a child. Started toy collecting as an adult and have been collecting all versions of MOTU including vintage, 200X, Classics (which I completed the line) Origins, and Masterverse.

I have mine in a collectible case that holds 8 figures total. I was/am a diehard He-Man fan. These figures brought me so much joy as a kid growing up in the 80's. I was never able to get my hands on an authentic Battle Cat so my He-Man had to ride a black panther knock-off. 😂 Great Vid!

I think had all of that 1st wave when I moved away from a small amount of Star Wars toys. Didn’t realize how great my parents were to get for me.. I eventually switched to Voltron then tradable sports cards and garbage pail kids. I remember being a little jealous of my friends that picked to go with GI Joe.. lol. I didn’t expect to have so much reaction to these toys. Thanks Laurence. You are right that there is a lot in common emotionally to this and comic collecting.. same itch, smaller price maybe…?

Yes. For loose figures especially. Carded ones are still expensive but not too bad

Great video, but Zodac was never depicted as evil in the cartoon. I will have to find the title, but there was an episode where there was a character who started out as less than desirable, later redeemed himself, and became a cosmic enforcer alongside Zodac at the end of the episode. In the cartoon, Zodac was always presented as neutral, though leaning towards good to keep balance in the universe.

Owned everything but brothers wife took all of our 80s toys for her kid to play with and then sold everything on eBay behind my back
